Proud to Be PUNJABI

assi phir post karaan laag pe...sorry meri punjabi spellings kiliye..heheh okay sorry i need to work on my punjabi..but yeah i was wondering have you all noticed that the punjabi's in Canada, USA, United Kingdom and other countries around the world...are happy to be known punjabi...but the punjabi's that i know in india are not...they are running from their identity well some are but why so??? why more in india then around the world

im relli proud to be punjabi but i guess everyone tries to be what they arent or cant..like punjabis abroad live in a western lifestyle but always try to somehow stay connected or incorporate something punjabi/indian..while in india..ppl try to be western and therefore run away from their true identity 😉

like karan said people get more influence abroad and tend to try to live up to the western comstom and lose what they are but it happens what can we do 😃

hi i am new to this forums, i am not punjab, but i like the bangra and all the punjabi songs and i love to dance to it, so i don't think the punjabi in india should run from who the are they should all be proud of their culture, i was looking up punjab on the net and it a very beautiful place i would love to live there and i like watching dateline punjab, and i even have a friend from punjab 😳
