The Paradox that is Love - MisHaan and RiHaan

Pari is a girl in love.

On her sister's birthday, she gets molested. Her sister speaks up and saves the day. The guy she loves beats up the baddies. Her sister insults that guy out of misunderstanding, and later realizes her mistake. A mess follows, leaving both her sister and Ruhaan hurt.

Pari walks straight to a heartbroken Ruhaan (and not her sis) and tries to make him feel better. But Ruhan, in a moment of rage, asks her to leave.

Pari feels bad. But perhaps, she realizes that Ruhaan is not in the right frame of mind. He is a nice guy, but today he is hurt and frustrated. She does not push him further, and despite being hurt at Ruhaan's lashing, decides to silently go away from his room.

But Ruhaan is a great guy. He realizes his mistake, and apologizes. Consoling her...he says,

Pari, dont let anyone insult you for no reason. Dont let anyone take out his frustrations on you. Nothing is bigger than your self-respect.

This, says Ruhaan. That same Ruhaan, who silently takes in every insult, every tantrum and every accusation hurled at him with or without reason, supressing his own self-respect from the woman he loves. Bcoz he understands that woman's (Mishti) pain which few others can. Bcoz he sees Mishti's inner turmoil which most others dont.

And, thereby comes the paradox.

Strange thing, Love is. In a way, Pari and Ruhaan are both sailing in the same boat in today's episode. Both are willing to take in harsh words from their beloved, sacrificing their self-respect, bcoz they are in love. And more importantly, bcoz they understand the inner turmoil of their objects of affection.

Very soon, the situation would be similar for Arnav n Pari too.

Arnav is in love with a friend and has been rejected.

Pari too is in love with a friend, and would most likely be rejected soon.

It would be interesting to see how the CVs resolve this without leaving anyone too hurt in the end.

Okay now I feel like watching ZGH though I have only seen some library scene before... so true love is paradox. Its stange because people find strength and weakness in love and pain which is like everlasting (not just talking about romantic love here).

Love makes things stronger too! I've seen that happening when my grandpa re-proposed my grandma on there 50th anniversary, yeah but it should be the right person... One sided feelings could be hurtful:( I dislike love triangles, it makes things complicated . Also I refuse to believe that a person feels sparks with only one person, it could happen with someone else when you're committed to someone else or in love with someone else. I've always said this that maybe not everyone looks for chemistry, maybe some people don't long for sparks and guitars in bg. Mishty to me seems the later kind and Mishty the kind who goes with the current, here now Ruhaan is challenging Mishty's stability while Arnav offers pari a love that's sweet and cute... I don't believe relationships solely work on electricity lol it's real hard work to make things last.
