According to the book satya is the main protagonist, but amongst the whole cast sonakshi has shot the least. She was on set for just 20-25 days. So it makes no sense.Also if they have taken inspiration they should sort this out asap and give credit to the author.

But what is up with these deepika fans, they literally were after the author to make a controversy. Tagging the media houses and trolls even rangoli. Tweeting that they should ban the movie and stop the release. Be happy with your slb na. And funny thing is none of them have even read the book.

2-3 people who have read the book have said that apart from names and time period nothing is similar. Book is about feminism and stuff.

Can Kalank be rip off of all the stories. To me, this looks nothing like Kalank, whose major characters are very different (except Alia probably). If you think they are same then, every story which has rich boy-poor girl or rich girl-poor boy falling in love is a total rip off of some other story.

Someone is just trying to take credit.
