Well Alia proved herself with a movie like Raazi which totally rested on her shoulders considering vicky dint hv a uri that time ..

Did Sonakshi prove herself yet where a movie completely rested on her shoulder ?

Yeah we might again go on with excuses of nepotism and kjo as sugar dady giving her best of roles but fact remains she did prove herself in whatever opportunity she was given ..Had those movies flopped at BO ,her sugar daddy too would hv gone in search of some new beti ..

So practically speaking Alia deserve to b lead over sonakshi here as she has better BO pull than sonakshi ..I m not even a alia fan here but Varun-Alia pair sells better at BO which is a known fact ..Only if BO started running on IF's likes and dislikes 😆

It is pretty simple, one thing being that Varia have a fan base of their own and every movie the two do together is a legit success.

Other than that, although Sonakshi does look royal, regal and everything nice but her she isn't even close to the act in acting, which Alia is known to be a natural in.

So, guess that's exactly why they're casted the way they're looked upon by the director and team.

100% agree. sona looks gorgeous.

alia doesn't look like a woman yet.

she is cute bt not womanly. sona looks like a woman n fits the role more. besides alia is shunted. the classical dance doesn't suit her. sona would have looked more agreeable.

also sona is a fab actress.

lastly a tale of two ladies. one is sona who never got work for recommendations n there is alia who kjo is babysitting all time. sigh.
