It such a delight watchiing the show from its old epis.over again..re- living their hit scenes..never has any other show or couple really tempted this much. Thanks for your posts (plus gifs) and vms AY...will really cherish them .
Dear Shivika,
You know what else is remarkable? After all this time, in a world where people typically only ship the usual tall muscular guy and petite/lean girl pairs, people continue to ADORE you despite your unconventional appearance as a pair...you the pairing of the short/petite guy with the tall girl who trolls his heightđ...yes, you very twođA flash in the pan lasts a few days, a few months, not three years and still continuing.Kuch toh baat hogi na?đWith Love,AY
I think their unconventional (by Indian TV standards) pairing really made it for me. Shivaay was literally the pretty pale, blue eyed princess stuck in a tower of his own making for most of the show. Annika showed him how to live.
It will always upset me that we never got to see a proper happy ending for the original universe.
Lol at the analogy of Shivaay as the blue eyed princess stuck in a tower đ
All Indian TV shows have the same basic plot line of female lead showing the male lead how to live his life the right way. Lol it's a standard trope so that alone wasn't what set Shivika apart. It was a mix of the unconventional appearance along with a unique way of depicting irreverence and depth simultaneously. Can't recall any other pair on desi TV who's managed to navigate that range quite like them. đ
