Mishri does have a n ego problem as shr is highly regarded in the house.
She only bends when she wants to otherwise she is a person who is spiteful.
When Ruhaani said he wasnt interested in colouring her, her ego was hurt and so she wanted to get back on Ruhaani by demeaning him , thats why that aukaat dialogue was used - to hurt Ruhaani very badly.
