What's wrong with palak's clothes

Why does Ritwik always taunts about palak's clothes she wears a dignified dresses and those clothes doesn't look poor or old . The first time he taunted kuch Aacche kapde kardi Lena, aise kapde pehan Kar jaaoge toh hotel mein pakdi jaaoge .😕 and then in today's episode (17) he again taunted her party mein kuch aache kapde pehan ke aajana and then he started asking about her black nighty . What is he trying to imply ,am not getting this taunt

Haha I feel Palaks clothing sense has deteriorated from S1 what was the shrug like loose clothing she wore on the yellow kurta & ankle length pants I felt she looked like a clown...

She basically can't win with Rithwik. When he thinks she looks good he makes the comment implying she's a prostitute (that's the pakdi jaaogi line) and when she looks bad he still has a go.

I really hope this show ends with Rithwik alone. Palak would be an idiot to go back to him.
