Radha cries herself to sleep that night, but Rishabh rolls up his sleeves and cracks his books, determined to make Mom's dream come true on his own. He stays up all night studying
After few days
Rishabh reads flash cards on the bus to school, when a talent agent sidles up to him and hands him a his card.
The man said "Do you get a lots of offers?
You'll find out if you sign with us that we're not like any other entertainment agencies."
Rishabh crinkles the card and goes back to his flash card.
Everywhere he goes, the girls fall on him to get a better view of him, but he ignores all the attention and buries his head in books day and night. Every day he gets new notes but he ignores it and puts them in the dustbin.
One night at the library, when Rishabh way out of the bathroom a voice stop him. "Stop" He turn and see a girl standing there. The girl is none other than madhu.
He gestured her is she is talking to him but madhu ignore him and asks "Why did you ignore me? I passed you seven letters asking you to see me."
Rk see her from top to bottom and then replies "you aren't my type."
Madhu retorted "You aren't mine type, either."
Madhu continue "Ever since you break up with trishna, she stopped eating and drinking. What will You do?"
Rk asked casually "Must i do something?"
Madhu said "Because of you, my friend wouldn't eat or sleep and..."
Rk cut her off, frustratingly said "What does that have to do with me?
Madhu said "She said she wants to die."
Rk coldly replies "Let her die then."
Madhu angrily threatened him "If she dies, i will kill you."
She continues "I'm telling you, it's serious. She won't eat, sleep or go to school. She just cries. Can't you help out? Bring her back to health and then dump her. Just until she's ready to..."
Rk cut her off "Is this your job? How much do you get for this?"
"Hey"
RK suddenly walks up to her and puts his hand on her forehead. Madhu is startled but shakes him away.
Madhu said "What are you doing?"
Rk replied "I think you're sick. Get some help. Shall i call your parents?"
Rk make fun of madhu. He is thinking she is not in her right mind.

At hospital
Madhu goes to visit her friend in the hospital, armed with tissues and snacks. But her friend refuses to eat, no matter how much madhu tries to console her.
Trisha said "I want to die"
Madhu said "Why do you want to die over a jerk like him? Rk isn't the only boy in the world. You're our famous neighborhood beauty. Shall i line up all the boys who like you?"
Trisha said "I don't care unless it's Rk... Madhu, i envy you. He isn't your type. I envy you because You can choose not to like him."
After hearing that madhu's face fall.

As madhu walks home that night, a girl bumps into her as she runs past. The girl looks back at madhu, and it turns out to be her past self in a flashback, running to the hair salon in a big hurry, excited about finally confessing her feelings to her crush.
Madhu looks into the salon window, seeing herself in flashback.
Hairstylist asked to madhu( past self) "why are you getting your hair done?"
Madhu (past self) said "I'm going to confess."
Hairstylist asked "To whom? The boy you have crush on?"
Madhu nod her head excitedly and said "Make me look pretty so he'll fall for me."
Madhu happily call her best friend Trisha "hello, trish, remember the pink dress you wore last time? Can i borrow it for last three hours?...
Hmm... It's for an important occasion.
..I'll tell you if you lend me the dress...
okay, I'll come over for it in a bit." And cut the call.
She'd walked to her friend's house while practicing her big speech:
"Rishabh kundra, I'm madhubala, and I've liked you for a long time. I know you're really popular with the others girls, but i am your destiny. You can't... get away from me...? You're not going to confess this way, are you, madhu?
She laughs at herself and rounds the corner, where she comes upon Rishabh pulling her best friend Trisha into a hug. It's break madhu's heart. Her confession killed before she could even make it.
Present day (2009 - present) Madhu watches her past self with a wistful smile, and continues on her way.
Madhu calls her Dad "malik"and cutely calls him by name, and he wonders if she's been drinking.
"You little brat.. Are you drunk?"
"Why would a high school kid get drunk? Can't a girl try to be cute for her dad?"
Shamsher said "What now? Do you need money? Do you have a friend who can't pay her tuition? Are we rich? Does money grow on trees? Do you know how much debt were in?"
Madhu mouths along to Dad's song about how they're not rich people, and have nothing but debt.
"Dad buy me a drink."
"You've lost your mind. Go home and sleep."
Madhu asks her dad to buy her a drink, and he calls her crazy and hangs up.
But when she heads down to meet Dad on his way home, he's holding a bag with two bottles of fruit beer, having caved to his daughter, like always. Shamsher loved his daughter.
Madhu sees that and happily tells her little brother Rohan over the phone not to wait up, since she's going on a date with Dad. While she's turned around to tell her brother this, a car comes careening down the street, and then there's a loud crash. Gack.
When Madhu turns around, she sees Dad lying in the road, his food cart overturned, and a red sports car stopped up ahead. A young woman gets out of the car, horrified at what she's done, but when she sees blood spilling out of shamsher's head, she panics and gets back in her car.
What the driver doesn't realize is that madhu has seen everything, and when she hears madhu screaming, "Dad!" the driver peels away from the scene. Madhu races after her on foot, screaming at the car to stop. It's useless, of course, and madhu is left standing in the street, watching the hit-and-run driver just get away.
In the middle of the night, Prosecutor Mohan gets a call from someone. he addresss the caller as Assemblyman Chaudhary
Mohan said "hello, assemblyman balraj Chaudhary... is something wrong?"
Balraj said "My daughter is in trouble. I need your help."
He said that his daughter got into an accident and he needs his help.

Rishabh stays in the library till closing and packs up his things at the end of the night, pausing to stare at the magazine article featuring his father mohan kapoor.
Otherside Madhu's father is in critical condition and she runs out of the hospital as soon as she gets a call from the police. They say that the hit-and-run driver has confessed, but when Madhu goes to confront the driver at the police station, it's a man, not the young woman she saw last night.
Madhu said "you got the wrong person. It wasn't him. My father was hit by a female driver."
Madhu said the culprit driver was a woman, which she saw with her own two eyes. She give descriptions about car but the man just cries and begs forgiveness, insisting that he was the driver.

After few days
Prosecutor mohan heads to work one morning and pauses at the subway exit when it starts to rain. He's about to step out and just get wet, when suddenly someone steps up behind him and holds an umbrella overhead.
It's Rishabh, who acts like he recognizes Prosecutor mohan from TV. As he walks his father to work,
Rishabh said "I want to become a prosecutor and planning to go to the same university you went to."
Mohan said "your parents must be proud."
Thinking that Rishabh is just a nice random kid, Mohan muses that he's unlike other kids these days, who have no ambition and motivation. He calls Rishabh smart and driven. and said
"I envy you parents."
RK tries to keep his emotions under wraps, but he can't help but smile at that comment. Mohan thanks him for the walk to work, and holds his hand out for a shake as he says he looks forward to seeing him in the prosecutor's office someday.
RK shakes his father's hand with a tentative smile, and then Prosecutor Mohan turns back to ask Rishabh to wait here ten minutes, because he wants to repay the favor.
But Prosecutor mohan gets way laid when madhu shows up at the courthouse parking lot to throw a rock at his car. She gets taken in by security, and when
Prosecutor Mohan comes in to ask madhu "Did my car wrong you in any way?"
Madhu replies "I came here over 20 times,but you avoided me with excuses that you were busy or not in. So i thought this would be the only way to get to see you."
Mohan asks "so why did you have to take such measures to see me?"
Madhu said "My father's hit and run case isn't closed. You don't have a criminal. The man who confessed Don't do it."
Mohan said "I Don't know why you want to see me but i can't interfere with every case."
Madhu said "According to police officer everything changed after you interfered. The suspect changed, the car changed, the statements and the prosecutor in charge changed."
Mohan smile evilly and said "Will you give advice to officer?? He should foucs on his job not writing a third class novel"
Madhu said "He thinks someone powerful is behind this. That we can do nothing. He said i can't win this fight, so i should keep quiet and settle."
Mohan said "I Don't have enough time to go on listening to a third rate novel. I'm sorry to send you away when you travelled so far."
Madhu replies "I never told you where i live or where I'm from. You knew who i am. That's why you avoiding me. You hid the real criminal and covered up"
Mohan coldly said "You wearing a uniform I've never seen before. I assumed you go to a school far from here. Go home now. You're my daughter's age, so i was being nice, but now my patience end." Madhu left from there.
When Madhu comes out, she is surprised to see Rishabh standing in the hallway. Rishab is smiling, thinking that what Mohan said about his parents. Madhu get annoyed that he seems so happy when her friend is still in the hospital because of him. She picks another fight with him.
"Are you that happy? Someone has been starving for days because of you, but you seem happy." Madhu angrily asks rk.
"Haven't you seen doctor? Someone as dangerous as you should not be unsupervised." Rk replied.
Madhu muttering that "Why on earth does she like you". And said loudly "if she were my daughter I'd have snapped both her legs" and she turn to go when Rishabh sticks his foot out to trip her.
she fall on floor and angrily look at Rishabh and said "Our country is mess because jerks like you want to be prosecutors. You dumped Trisha because you couldn't concentrate? Why do you even study when you're least in your year?"
Rishabh saw mohan is standing there and overheard their conversation. He feel humiliating in the process but Madhu has no idea.
She stand up and just continues, telling Rishabh that "Don't meet women and don't date women. Didn't even get married. Waste your whole life in studies . If you were to study until you were 80 then maybe you would pass the exam" and left from there.
