Best Male Debuts were by starkids who were launched by their star actor daddies alongwith tremendous hype and ceremony and those films became huge hits, they became overnight stars with instant fan following.

They are HR, Kumar Gaurav and Sunny Deol

Outsider males can never hope to get a huge launch or debut like that.

Biggest Female debuts in recent times I would say both DP and Anu got fab debuts alongside superstar SRK in major productions by RCE and YRF. They got the best launches with the most hype and got instant recognition.

The thing with social media is that koi bhi star ban jaata hai. Yeh papz photos click karke ig pe daal dete hain aur log fida ho jaate hain.

Stars ka zameena toh woh tha jab yeh nautanki nahi hua karti thi.

Parineeti ka debut kafi hyped tha. Uske ilaawa mujhe toh yaad nahi ke kisi pe itni umeedein lagi hoon. Yeh mera personal experience hai. Aur Asin bhi kaafi charcha mein thi. Bas yahi dono yaad hain.

This was before twitter and all took over lives and sane minds.
