I think they are hoping that the initial WOM will bring the people out on Good Friday going into the weekend.

If there is one thing Captain Marvel's opening has confirmed, it is that End Game is going to do 250-300 Cr range business.

They should have moved a full week ahead. If WOM is bad, Wednesday release completely kills the weekend.

It was obvious it wasn't releasing on the 19th since the posters didn't have the 19th printed. But the posters didn't have any specific date printed. I'm wondering if the release date was in limbo and was decided at the last minute. Maybe they were waiting for the reaction to the posters to decide? Maybe, I'm speculating. I am curious as to why not release it on the 12th and have two full weeks before Avengers?
