Yesterday, Sonam Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to put out a message of peace between India and Pakistan, the two countries that are at a rival situation with each other at this point of time.

In no time, her Instagram story went viral on social media. In her hurry to put out a message of peace between India and Pakistan, Sonam forgot to credit the post to the original writers: satirical Facebook page Humans of

But if you notice it carefully you will see at the left corner, the credits have been already given to the person from whom Sonam reposted the post. But the netizens failed to notice it and henceforth went on trolling Sonam on Twitter.

People should have known from reading the post itself ki Sonam is not capable to thinking such deep and meaningful words. Kissi aur k shabd hai woh.

Everyone is enraged and will take it out however they can. When Indian celebs themselves start posting stuff like Pak celebs, people will definitely react.

Its turning into war zone in social media every day. Celebs should just stop posting about the issue. Its a sensitive issue and everyone is hurt from it.

Yeah right. They stop and it propagates into another issue of having no concern for their dhartima.

In all the chaos, celebs get the misguided brunt for doing anyf**kingthing.

I didn't find anything wrong with her post. It sends a message about no to war.

Exactly! Nothing is really going to matter by their countless tweets against each other. Bahar iss ka koi pharak nahi padta hai. Their tweets, comments make -0 difference in real world.

I didn't find anything wrong with her post either. It was actually very meaningful. However the timing for such post is wrong. If it where any other day, people from both side would have commented about the bhai chara and sang yeh bandhan toh. But right now its like telling people to hug their brother's killers. 😳

Plagiarize? Anyone who has a faint idea of Instagram would know that she was just sharing the post of another person through her story.

Also I 100% agree with the post btw. Kudos to Sonam for having the courage to express her thoughts

its sad to see the reactions she is getting over such a sensible and peaceful post, all she is saying is no to war

its unfortunate that those that are calling for peace are getting bashed by angry people on both sides who think having a war is some sort of game

I think the post is very "in" with its philosophy about no to war and how the fundamentalists are the bad guys etc. Obviously the regular people only think about regular stuff like living their regular life. They don't have to think about the border skirmishes, the diplomatic affairs of the nation or the military interventions. Obviously the soldiers are physically involved in a war which is the result of decisions taken by those in the government, far from the war field. Why state the obvious to sound all high-handed intellectual?

40 soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack. This is the reality. If we should be peaceful and say no to war, then why even have an army and defence budget? Let's try and live a normal life without having any sort of defence as a country. Cuz we love peace so let anyone rule over us. Except, nobody gets to have a normal life when somebody else is ruling over them. War is a reality that nobody can escape, except when sitting safe in our homes. Peace is a great ideal but to implement it universally, people will have to come up with better theories than just "no to war".
