It was February 24 2017 that this landmark movie released

Let me be honest...

I liked the film...

ONLY TILL Kangana became Superwoman and rescues Shahid from that train sequence...what the hell was that 🤔

there are some genuine effective moments...esp the woman accompanying shahid in the army gets executed..

point to be noted : that it's extremely risky to make a film on india's independence or freedom struggle because ppl just didn't like it... mangal pandey, thugs, rangoon bhagat singh all big flops..dunno how manikarnika managed rs 100 cr...that's still a miracle to me

@bold, it's so true. Indians are kinda ashamed of the fact that they were ruled by Britishers for 200 years. Though they still respect the freedom fighters, and want to know about India's struggle to independence, but seeing that in movies which are considered to be entertaining, it might becomes a tough watch for them.
