Women didn't dance in public in those days except courtesans

So any depictions of Upper class women dancing in public with commoners is totally inaccurate

SLB showed Paro dancing together with a courtesan. I don't think that was in the original Devdas

Its just a movie, cinematic liberties must be taken in order to enjoy the experience.

You seem to have no problem with PK being an alien or Sanjay Dutt being a victim In Sanju. Like those things, just accept it.

If you want authenticity then read history books ?

Miss kangu claimed that they had three historians come and authenticate their movie.

But the disclaimer of the movie says the movie doesn't hold ANY accuracy at all

Problem with Padmaavat was that Rani Padmini is considered a goddess by Rajasthanis, Rani Lakshmi Bai is not. Christians will not like if Jesus is shown dancing in a movie.

When a movie appeals to me, I am not the one measuring each and everything and searching for logic...In fact I think you were also there in that topic where I was made fun of for seeing logic in a movie like OSO...Yes that's me! I don't like/dislike a movie because of these silly things...May be I have my own way of watching and enjoying movies...But how can you question that?😕

Also, don't keep on using the words like 'hatred', 'bashing' etc so loosely...at least not with me...Because I hope you notice how I never cross any line expressing my dislike for be it the actors or their craft or their movies...I may dislike them/their craft/movies but none of them are important enough for me to have such strong feelings like 'hatred'...
