First thing I want to say is no matter what, Mishti will always be Ishaan's first child, I don't doubt that for a second.
I really hope MauHaan have another kid because they both have so much love to give and I think they deserve maximum happiness. Even Mishti would love more younger siblings, her only problem with Pari was because she misplaced her anger towards Kunal on her. After she got over it, she's a very good sister to Pari, same would happen if MauHaan had more kids.
The reason I want more kids is that in season 1, the leads were heavily influenced by society and parents and that kept interfering in their married life.
I think there was a spoiler saying s2 aarav and pari would be in love and mishti would fall in love with aarav also. I think since there's no marriage that has to keep the first couple together, it would be better if the leads had like-minded friends to talk them through their feelings.
Main problem with Mauli's mom, Ishaan's mom, Radhika and Dadi is they all want to keep their own family together and they prioritize their idea of a perfect life for their kid. They didn't care about K-N-M-I's feelings.
But I think a sibling would neutralize that selfishness because they would care equally for both sides. Even if the new kid isn't blood related to Pari they would still be raised kind of like step-siblings/cousins because they all think of Radhika as a Dadi so I think the affection would be there, just like with Pari-Mauli and Ishaan-Mishti.
Even though Radhika and Dadi chose Mauli they still have the potential to flip flop like we see Dadi doing, but I think another sibling wouldn't lean toward one couple but would want to keep the siblings united, which is something we didn't see in s1. no one tried to mend mauli/nandini's friendship.
also the sibling probably wouldn't care about the divine love aspect or the dutiful wife aspect (like mauli's mom) and there would be less focus on the blame game and more on the feelings aspect.
