I know there's a separate review thread but this is not really a review, and no spoilers. I just want to say I LOVED the film and what acting by Ranveer and Alia! they were mind-blowing!

The movie is many-layered and a treat to watch, and is both a love letter to rap as well as a social commentary on many issues. Performances are gold and music is solid. It's just phenomenal!

I don't know what numbers the film will rake in, and frankly, I don't care. This is sheer brilliance, frame by frame, and is meant for many viewings, not just one. You want to take in all that the film is offering and one view is not enough to justify the poignant work that the entire team has put in. Zoya Akhtar is at the top of her game, and the film is a testament to her vision, as well.

Overall, I would just say like to say a film like this comes once in many moons. Don't miss it for the world!

I am not a fan of either but both are brilliant actresses.

Alia Bhatt is fantastic, she is totally endearing but feisty and bold as well. She has performed so spunky you will be left breathless with wonder!

Like them or not bur Ranveer ad Alia give their best in a movie. But I just want to know how the other guy Siddhant doing in the movie? He has a really sweet offscreen personality and a spark in him.

He and Ranveer's father in the film are both superb. I found this guy totally charming and he has good screen presence as well.
