these kinds of silly manipulation always happen.
there is always a small differences in collections, all the time.
Producers generally quote higher amount, while Traders quote numbers more or less lesser than producers.
Everyone has their own source/bias and nowadays a bit common sponsor(film producers).

But during Krishh3, Rakesh Roshan over did it by trying to make it like it is the ATG, but reality was it wasn't. Producers always run after a milestone hence we hardly see producer figures being stopped at 95-99 and so on marks.

General public nah, Hrithik is just not making good movies(Kaabil was okay, but not good), hence the lack of success.

I agree with some of these comments. He doesn't seem as focused to really want to be at the top. I, however, always found his films a bit meh and his personality is super boring, despite him being a hunk I feel he is completely lack lustre.

Hrithik could have done better in his early days!!! Few movies like fiza and mission kashmir lakshya had them been released now would have done a great job at box office!!! And how I hoped he was not a part of few cringeworthy movies like MPKDH MDK AMALL

I can only speak for myself as I wasn't active on SM at that time. But I was curious about these accusations so I read up and did a little digging on what happened.


It seems that papa was giving GROSS figures instead of NETT. Like he was quoting the collections BEFORE the tax was deducted... (you know like some movies are declared tax free so their collections jump as they don't have to pay taxes.)

The figures were correct but he was giving GROSS figures, that too cumulative of all the languages NOT only Hindi.
(Hrithik is one of the few BW stars who enjoy a good hold in south India as well, atleast this is what I have heard from my SI friends, so his movie did well in other languages too)

No idea why papa did that as film did very very well... even with the Hindi Nett collection the movie was a blockbuster


But he's not the only one who has given gross figures cumulative of alll languages. Latest example is manikarnika producers who are passing around pre tax collections of all languages. I don't see any outrage now lol

You can do a little digging of your own, I'm not lying. His figures were correct but they weren't the Hindi only NETT figures which was usually counted.
