Why could Hrithik not sustain the hype of KNPH?

Hrithik started out with a bang in KNPH but could not sustain the mega-stardom he achieved with that one movie. This, despite being a complete package and having the looks, charisma, dancing and acting skills.

20 years is a long time and I personally feel he could have achieved a lot more by now. But he seems to have lost that hunger for success.

Discuss please.

On a serious note, these I feel are the reasons:

Multiple reasons.

He doesn't take his competition seriously.

That's why he makes bad choices.

He thinks that he's already achieved enough and doesn't need to achieve more.

He is too lazy. Only releasing 1 film every 2 years.

Due to this he has failed to keep up, he is not in the race to the top anymore because of such behaviour.

His stubbornness.

He seems lazy to me. You can't become a big star if you are package without working so hard just like you can't become a doctor just because you are smart. Salman and Aamir had bad phase in the early 2000 but they were able to catch up by working hard and trying something different. Salman tried masala movies and Aamir tried something creative but I don't see the dedication of HR. He keep doing boring movies that are mostly historical. I think his divorce and problem with Kangana somehow affected his career. He can still rise if he work hard but he seemed to lost interest toward acting.

Why did it affect him so badly? I suppose he was innocent. He was stalked and harassed by her. That much is evident. But he was the one who came out untainted because he had never had an affair with her, I guess.

While it is true he looks super hot and cute type handsome hero which no one has, he somewhat appears way too soft and sensitive and lacks some manliness look like srk, salman. When he acts he goes too much emotional like girls, even Aamir is like that..they look somewhat shy and dull. Not in ur face machoness energetic type.

That reminds me of the question I asked HR fans on the thread that got locked .. but I didn't get any answers .. 😭 ... What is the take on HR and Krrish 3 BO debacle?! .. PO mentioned there was a huge discrepancy of 60cr? ... Did this really affect his reputation? .. I mean do general public even care? .. Till few days back I had no clue of this manipulation! .. 🤔

Taking long gaps between his films only to end up with not great releases. Also, yes he is admittedly lazy, even though he gives his all when he does a film. Plus he barely remains in the limelight be it through social gatherings, social media or mini projects like advertisements. He's an amazing actor but the sad truth is that you need to be in the limelight and around to maintain your stardom. I think the biggest problem is doing too less films and taking huge gaps, just like I still believe he can be back in the game.
