How is she doing all this arm twisting, I don't know... but she was planning to take over since day 1. Even before the movie started rolling.

There is no way she would have gotten the funding with her as director.

Ketan Mehta came up with the idea and worked on research for a lot of years, Manikarnika was to be second part of his trilogy, when he felt ready with the story he approached Kangana who agreed to do the film, it was announced to the media, he shared reseach materal with her and his drafts and ideas, she took it all, in the mean time he was looking for backing because he wanted to make it on a grand scale, he also got sick and ended up in the hospital, during this time Kangana went to Vijayendra Prasad as her idea and her research, Kamal, Krish and Joshi came on board and they announced the film with much fanfare, Hansal found out thru the media. He filed legal papers but his claim was dismissed and no one gave him a second thought.
