Great Post, Maha. I am also a silent member of this forum (too bad they dont do written updates, whichi s what I mostly come here for).
I think so far Meeta has been shown Gray - or unclear, but I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE that they do not show her negative. Why? Because I think it is central to the theme of Women Empowerment that men like Ashok do not get away with everything. Ever since Meeta has come, Ashok's family has been blaming Meeta, as if Ashok himself is doodh ka dhula, although the girl is actually trying to fit in, and is over all a decent girl. Yes she is gray because she chose to be in a relationship with a married man, and should have known better, but this man promised her the moon - who knows if he even disclosed her in the beginning he was married? She is very much in love with him, and is invested in this relationship, he on the other hand, is using everyone (his parents, his wife, and her), is insensitive to her needs and insecurities and is just a selfish person.
I get it that he fell for a strong woman like Meeta, but he is basically expecting her to be a timid "housewife" and impress his parents, etc., when he does little to contribute in his relationship with her.
So in the end, with all her "focus" on women's empowerment, I hope Mini (and maybe Babita makes her see this) finally sees that Meeta also deserves respect (yes, call her out for her wrong but do not blame her entirely as if she enticed a bechara bacha). I would love for makers to take this route.
