I think he is doing this all, because Sweety's words are affecting him that she saw immense love for Kunal in Mauli's eyes, so I think (my theory) is that he is doing this on purpose to get Mauli to accept her love for Kunal and maybe give him another chance.

But, the thing that bothers me about this, is it is not Ishaan's choice! Can Mauli make her own choice about who she wants to be with please?!?!

Ultimately, I think Ishaan-Mauli will end up together. But until then, all of this is really unfortunate and sad and makes me cringe.

Maybe he thinks Kunal helped him in some point of time and this is what he can do for his daughter.

Mauli and Ishaan are good decent caring people . They are not selfish ..they don't put their needs and desires first. Ishaan out of the goodness of his heart ...out of his sympathy for pari, Dida and radhika asked Mauli to do this to help Kunal recover his memory. Mauli,and Ishaan are not like Kunal and nandu. And the good thing about ITV is that in the end the good people always get their deserved happiness...good peoples good deeds don't go unnoticed and unrewarding in ITV ..so Mauli and Ishaan will get their happiness in the end together ...😊
