I don't understand the dynamics...if mauli choose her self-respect n moving on with ishaan she is hailed as the strongest women...independant women...non-stop praises for choosing her self-respect...self-esteem...if the same mauli follows her heart n emotions and falls in love with kunal again who broke her heart and betrayed her or still stuck in her past...or wants to give a chance to her broken marriage(pre-leap)...if she unites with kunal or even keep a relationship due to their respective daughters is called weak...what names are being impose on her..is it wrong if she follows her heart?
even if mauli follows her heart and chooses her past as her happiness or staying single as her happiness...for me she is still the same strong women for me...it takes strength...guts...selfless nature to forgive a huge betrayal and thats a strength itself...it takes huge guts to follow your heart and choose your happiness...as womens we live for others more than for ourselves...sometimes those decisions doesn't give us happiness...we feel its our ultimate destination...we adjust...we compromise but its not...something is missing which is our inner peace and happiness and we crave for it...what is more important is inner peace and happiness...even if one choose self-respect...self-esteem..when there is no full satisfaction in your heart and soul...its not worth it...its better to live a lifeless lifeall mauli needs to do is follow her heart...not to think n hear abt others...just follow her heart...its her heart that will lead her to heal her pain...moving on and a start of new beginning...its her heart that will lead her to inner peace and happiness...when she follows n hear what her heart says thats where her true happiness lies...it can be ishaan ...kunal or staying single...all she needs to do is listen to her heart and make a decisionshe needs to stop listening to others and make her own decision and be firm with it...for me...mauli's inner peace and happiness is more important than anything else even her self-respect...all while she choose her self-respect...is she happy?...in my eyes...completely my perspective...she is not happy...she has turn into a robot that leads her nowhere...after one pain to another...where is she happy in the first place?...she chose her self-respect and a new life...i don't see her happy...she has become a robot in the hands of sandhya...kunal needs a tight slap for pushing her into current mess in where she assume to be happy but to be honest she loose herself...well many might think...i am talking on shipper spirit...thats fantasy...boat sails today...sinks tomorrow...what we cherish is memories.. predictions and dreams to see such scenes on my ship is fantasy purely imaginary...where it does not exist...its just a fantasy...but as a individual mauli fan...i am seeing in a women perspective...since i am a women myself...i have compromise n adjust to situations myself when i chose my self-respect but that doesn't give me any happiness and satisfaction...i am just adjusting with the situation keeping others happiness in mind...thats how i see mauli too...her entire life she has been choosing her self-respect...neither i see her heal nor happy...the one moment in the show she followed her heart that is to forgive nandini who is no more in the world thats when i saw a satisfaction in her face that leads her to pray for nandini's soul...whatever happened in pre-leap can't be deleted...it will remain in her heart n haunt her too but she did follow her heart to forgive and that satisfaction glowed in her face...mauli needs to just follow her heart
Mauli is a fictional character. There are certain traits in Mauli which have made people like her and connect to her. It's only during the confrontation scenes that the AT for Mauli/ Aditi was first created in this forum. So majority of the people connected/ appreciated her immensely due to her strength as well as the performance of the actress.
People have expectations from the character based on her basic traits. So her not responding to Sandhya is out of character. As far as following her heart is concerned, everyone wants the best for Mauli , even the viewers. But she can only want or desire what the writers want her to desire. So we want the writers to choose the best option for her life and daughter and not live with her past and make the character's heart desire the same too.
