"Mr. Khan, please. Please don't do this. Please. Aap mujhe bhas ek chance de do. I'll make everything right. Please!" she tried holding on to him with everything ounce of strength she had.
"You lied to me Zoya! I trusted you, aur aapna mujhse jhoot kaha hai. I don't know if I can trust you anymore." his cold eyes met her tear-streaked ones as he broke free of her grasp.
She watched him turn his back on her, her tongue tied. With every passing moment, his silhouette shrank and shrank until it disappeared in the dark. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, her knees gave away and she fell to the ground, knowing that she truly lost him forever.
