Any YUDKBH fan who has been a member of India Forums or any other SNS group would know that we as fans had started to dread Sameer wearing the color RED.

When he wore red in Mt. Abu on the day Naina confessed her love, the events took a turn for the worse and the bet revelation happened resulting in Naina's heartbreak. The color red here denoted Sameer's anger and the violent reactions it brings in their lives.

Fast-forward to college, he once again wears red on Naina's birthday, and problems begin to happen in their small world again. We all know what happened that day, and would probably forever curse the series of events that started on that day. Here, I guess red signified adventure and the resulting danger.

Again in college, Sameer wears red in Navaratri function, and even though we got a good dose of romance, but still there were problems that they had to face. Though this time, they both stood and faced it together, and this happened, I believe, because Naina chose for Sameer to wear red. Because this color was chosen with love by the woman who means the world to him, here the color implied the primal force in his life i.e. Naina's love, which brought him out of the impending bad luck.

After this event the cursed red color started to symbolize energy, love, and passion for them. And then, yesterday CVs played the master stroke by breaking the curse. Sameer again wore a red shirt, and this time there was a more eminent danger of separation... but the curse shattered in-front of their love... the color which separated them now brought them together... indicating that Sameer's claim of "agla rang laal hoga" will indeed come true... Yesterday this color denoted courage and salvation and love. Because no matter what, the most powerful association of RED will always be LOVE.

I will take a little bit of time to focus on Naina too. She wore Purple. Even though I love that color, at first, I was not happy because she had worn this same outfit on dinner with Sharad's family. But then, I remembered that internationally purple is a color symbolizing women (it is the official color of International Women's Day). The color choice for Naina signified the dignity with which she held herself in-front of her family as well as Sameer, it denoted the equality and justice she wanted in this relationship, and finally it meant the nobility and luxury she would find with Sameer.

Apart from that, purple is very rare in nature... it is exotic. Sameer's natural surroundings included people who wanted to take away his happiness; they were ready to push him into a world of darkness. This has been natural for him... but in these natural surroundings, he found a rare and exotic person like Naina... just as he said, bas ek Naina hi hai jo mere aansu ponchna jaanti hai. So yes, Sameer's exotic, rare and one of a kind person had to be dressed in PURPLE.

Yesterday we saw the royalty of purple combine with the energy of red, and that created pure magic on-screen.

Yes, Colors have always been pivotal in this love story... but I guess the usage of red has been the most extensive... from clothes to flowers... everywhere... and each time it had a different hidden meaning. 😳

Absolutely right... Emotional scenes and different denotations of the color... That is why the color caught my eyes immediately when I watched the episode... 😊
