Aah... Finally an analysis post which has a direct connect with the show and doesn't look like copied philosophy from some article...
I simply loved how you connected each event in red...with the happenings and growth in samaina relationship...

Till date we all had just assumed the Sam wearing red was cursed for their love story...and we dreaded him wearing it...

But the way you brought forth the fact that during the navratri event... It wasn't that "cursed" or shall I say the color did not impact a lot coz it was chosen by the woman who loved him...and how it slowly started losing that tendency to harm Sam...and finally...that very color laying down the foundation of them being one always and forever...and hats off to u for that connect with "agla rang laal Hoga"
simply brilliant...👏

And that purple symbolism ... Complete with a woman who is both liberated and is a rarity ... An exotic being in Sam's life...complete with him accepting the fact not just himself but infront of his family too...⭐️

Mou... I'm Soo looking forward to more posts from you...
As we are approaching the most awaited track of our show...I'm sure these posts will help us understand and enjoy the episodes all the more with good touches of realism😳

Lovely to read a symbolism post from u Mou...U bought the right connect to the characters with the fine detailings n also the progression ...the transitions in their phases..
Its true we had discussed this so often here in the forum that red was a danger sign 😆...n something inevitable is surely to strike n it always did...But ur analysis is so right at the moment where the curse has finally broken where red not only denotes love n energy...but more on vigor, determination , willpower too...The stage they are in now where they both hve fought together with immense Courage to sustain their relationship !!..Its like the color Red has undergone metamorphosis or progressed jus like how their LOVE hve seen the infinite changes n growth in their relationship !!

Ok had no idea about purple but loved the analogy behind it...i can jus say red n purple are great combination...Looking at it n u see a striking appearance..a pleasing sight...Both r dark n deep...n entirely INTENSE ... jus like our lovebirds...!!The personalities they are...sameway the colors RED n purple r fiery ones where their true essence cnt b dilluted or lightened when mixed with any form...They still hold that strong pigment, their very own CORE...n as such when its Samaina as a whole...the combination of their togetherness red n purple can be much enormouous, potent n highly passionate...Extreme!

Love the analysis! Although I had noticed how their clothes & the colour combinations play a key part in the storyline, I hadn't really given much thought to it. Love this!

Beautiful Analysis Mou, loved it. 👏

After a long time read a post on symbolism, I am back bencher when it comes to symbolism 😆...I never understood any such thing over there hence I love to read such posts.
Second, it is comingfrom you which makes me believe you watch the show as ardently as you write on Samaina. 😉

OK, red is not manhoos for Samaina as a couple but still it is manhoos for Sameer as individual, isn't it?

Thank you Ross... 😃

Hahaa... The small nuances often used in the show intrigue me. I notice often, but don't make posts always. However, the red color thing has been going on since so long, that I was happy to see a kind of closure to it.

As for your question... Red was always manhoos for Sameer... even when he wore it in Delhi, we can safely say that it was the worst phase in his life. It brought troubles and bad luck in his life... But, ever since Naina chose that color for him to wear, the effect started to diminish. This time, even though Naina didn't choose it, bad luck didn't befall him... In fact, he was quite lucky to hear Tauji-Mamaji conversation... So, basically red is no longer manhoos for Sameer or for SamAina... 😳

Hope I could resolve your doubt.

And now... about @Bold: I get it... I totally get what you are trying to say... 😛 I am very much used to your ways of saying certain things by now... 😆😆 And my reply is that, I will try my best... I need to get better at keeping my commitment. ☺️

Cheers,
Mou

Hi Mou, beautiful and apt analysis..they had to go through these phases to reach where red becomes the strength of their relationship rather than weakness..
You raised an interesting point on the purple suit..I feel there is more to it than just colour..she wore that suit when she was taken to meet Sharad, at that time she was considered as an object by her family and they were trying to mould her in their way..so she wore the same dress on the day when she finally found her wings..yes there were uncertainties throughout the day and low points to the extent that she thought she has reached the edge but then it all fell in place..she found that strength and finally she could be herself rather than moulded version of her family! So I felt the dress was highly significant! Let me know your thoughts..

Thank you so much dear...! 😃

I have to say the way you described the dress is also very special... and totally apt. She had truly become a lifeless doll earlier... yet that day too Sameer reached out to her in his own special way, be it drinking her jhootha water, or observing her each and every more... There was a slight breather in the break-up phase too as Naina gestured to him about the cake smeared on his lips, and Sameer smiling after a long long time.
This time too when she wore that dress, there was impending gloom... but Sameer did reach out to her in his own way... this time for forever... 😳

Thank you so much Vandy...!! 😃

Since we all had discussed so much about the mishaps happening whenever Sameer wore red, I just couldn't help but notice how the CVs broke the curse this time...and then I realized that the process had begun long back in the Navratri function.

I am glad you loved this analysis... will surely try to write more... 😳

Love,
Mou

Hi Meher... Thank you for the wonderful note dear...! 😳

What a beautiful write-up! I loved how you explained that Red and Purple even when combined still hold on to their own core... This is exactly how Sameer and Naina are... They have come together and evolved because of their love, but never once have they obliterated each other's personality... They both have managed to retain their core set of characteristics...

Thank you Sveta... 😳

It is absolutely okay... no lengthy paragraphs needed... Just you taking out the time to read and comment is enough.

Hahaa... Yeah... Meher and Vandy do compensate for most... 😆
