Dharmendra was hospitalized a few days before October 31 due to breathlessness and was placed on a ventilator for a brief period. However, doctors later stabilized him, and he was discharged with instructions to continue treatment at home.

Celebs rushed to the hospital

The actor's family, including wife Hema Malini and children Sunny Deol and Esha Deol, has been by his side throughout his recovery. Several Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Govinda, have also visited him at the hospital to show their support.

Reacting to the false reports on November 11 claiming Dharmendra's passing, the actor's daughter Esha Deol took to Instagram to address the rumors. "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery."

Hema Malini also lashed out, saying, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."
