Parineeti is overrated as f**k. She literally has the most average chubby face and keeps gaining weight so she can't do any of the glam roles for obvious reasons. Her acting is limited as seen in her recent disaster of a film.

Happy Bhaag Jayegi 2 I watched recently, she was good there too.

I feel movie choice/role choice was bad for both.

If they were mentored by karan they could have taken bettere author-backed roles and be at the top. Alals, as I have discussed in another thread, karan seems to have favourites even amongst nepo kids and he promotes those the most, whilst giving itsy-bitsy roles to the rest.

After Lootera, if Sonakshi went for a SLB/RH/KK movie.. where her role had some 'meat' but was also part of a BIg production, she could have emerged better.

Parineeti seems to have given up in favour of cash and taken any roles and doing them just for the money- disinterested. Pity She could have been the biggest star of the new gen.

Sonakshi has been given innumerable chances yet she cudnt do anything.Not just the movies don't fare she was also average or below avg in all of them so how can one call her underrated.This Sonakshi was so good in Lootera jaap is annoying.Her one good performance cannot justify her so many bad performances.
Parineeti if asked 2 years back I wud have said yes but today no..her acting talent is deteriorating with passing time.She was so bad in NL.Wasnt very good in MPB also.
Any actor is called very good when she/she shines even in a bad script.

No. I dont think they are under rated.

Sonakshi has been in the industry for so long and i dont think anyone remembers any note worthy performance of hers barring Lootera which was ages back. She has achieved nothing and what annoys me the most is that she does not seem to even try because she knows she can still keep getting films after films. And there is a bit of an arrogance in her and i have always seen her behave very entitled!

Coming to Pari, she is a decent actress but she became too repetitive with her acting and she completely lost track with her weight loss drama and now seems to have lost that momentum. I dont see a bright future for her but she is definitely is a decent actress.
