I agree, pehle din se Durga had wanted an "ideal saas" to enter the house, someone who would handle the whole family perfectly and someone whom she as a badi bahu could look up to.

Guddu was the exact opposite of all her expectations, plus the "dhoke se shaadi" still has Durga furious. So she has a special grudge against Guddu right now, but once she sees her behaving like a saas and fulfilling all her duties properly, I think Durga will grow to accept her and be her support system in maintaining the family harmony. I would love to see that transition and I have full hopes that it'll happen 😊

+ Durga has shown to care about AJ getting a perfect wife too so that, he comes out of his tanhai & Guddu is perfect for that 😳

Exactly, she was the only one who understood that "AJ bure nahi hai, wo akele hai" and had wanted someone to enter his life and make it complete. She sees AJ as an idol and definitely cares about him a lot...😊

Seeing AJ not accepting Guddan as his wife gives her a free pass to not accept Guddu as saas. With AJ's change in nazariya, hers will change as well.

Very well said. Durga has limits to how low she can go and whenever she does something bad to Guddan she genuinely feels it is for the betterment of the family and not a personal grudge against her saas. I too would love to see the tide change one day and how their dynamics end up being portrayed during the transition from enemy to ally.

Well, you know all the villains in the show have been unwitting cupids, and so will Durga! The more trouble she causes for Guddan and the harder she tries to separate them, the closer Akshan will end up becoming.

durga really cares for AJ???I doubt

Her main problem is Just me me & myself

She Wanted saas so they can escape from Aj's anger & tantrums ( trophy saas bcoz sh felt Aj wont love anyone except antara)

If She really cares abt jindal n Aj's respect, she would nt hv done that joker tamasha

She cant see anything beyond herself

& later she confessed nt bcoz guilt bt bcoz She was caught red handed... Guddu was sad + she knows well changing eq bet #Akshan(christman Dance & ..) Aj would hv known reason anyhow n then consequences would nt be in her favor so played Smart..

Karva chauth, rasdi kaand Then Christmas & many More scenes... Her Problem is she is feeling that Her position is being snatched by Guddu & dadi n Aj all times Just Guddu Guddu & Guddu...& She can't bear it..

Nw she feels Aj is falling 4 Guddu, she will do something surely.. & she will say as usual that she is doing this n that for betterment for family n Aj bt in actually she is just giving excuse..Actually point is she Wants her importance Bcoz she is in illusion that only she is perfect 4 This jindal bhavan, Which she will never get till Guddu is there..

If there iS any other Lady shewta oR whoever in place of Guddu Then Aj would nt hv care that much... she would be ok with trophy saas bt Guddu is diff & durgaji cant digest it!!
