Hey all,

I am new here. Saw a scene between kalyani and Malhar on instagram and started following the show thereon. However, it would really be nice if someone could give me a breif recap of the show considering i just started following the show 2-3 days back.

Like i want to know how kalyani and anupriya are so close given in the promos i saw Kalyani hating her initially.

Also how did kalyani end up marrying malhar?

Who is Sampada and Atharva? and who is pallavi?

Also please share any other information that would add to my knowledge about the show.

Hi sasha!

I also started following the show just a few days ago, and I desperately wanted someone to tell me the story so far so that I can catch up from there on...

But I am really thankful that I didn't ask for that and instead watched all the previous episodes... I guess that will make you connect to the characters way better than getting to know the story...

I would strongly suggest you to watch all the episodes to have a better grip of the show...

First let me tell u about characters dear

Kalyani is Atul n Madhuri's bioligical daughter

Anupriya is Atul's first wife n legally too she is Atul's wife

Atul n madhuri fell for each other but that time Atul was already married to anupriya...madhuri got pregnant n Atul chose madhuri over anu so aao saheb disowned her own son (not legally though) n took her daughter in laws side...after that Atul n madhuri left aurangabad n went to pune there madhuri gave birth to kalyani

Madhuri was aparana's nanad(sister in law) so when the dekhmukh's disowned atul n madhuri that time Aparna's in laws too abandoned her n her daughter sampada...that's why she hates kalyani n anu coz atul wanted a divorce from her but she denied n aparna still holds anu responsible for her n her daughter's miseries

Pallavi is vivek's wife...vivek is Atul's younger brother so pallavi is kalyani's chachi (aunty)

Atharv is pallavi's brother

Malhar was married to sampada( aparna's daughter , kalyani's cousin) but sampada was in love with atharv...she told aao saheb(aao saeb is atul's mother,kalyani's daadi) but aao saheb rejected their relationship n forcefully got her n malhar married

Malhar always loved sampada but she never loved him so afyer giving birth to moksh she eloped with atharv

Now AnuYani n KalMa's story...i'll tell u after 9 pm thoda lamba h n i want to watch raabta😃

now coming to AnuYani

On atul n madhuri's marriage anniversary kalyani saw madhuri hanging from the window n atul was trying to save her but she fell from there...on hospital's death bed the last word she said was Anupriya...atul was arrested for madhuri's murder n then kalyani assumed that atul n anu was having an affair which caused madhuri's death

That time kalyani was 17 toh atul gave kalyani's custody to anu...kalyani was so against it so as anu but because of atul's insistence they both agreed

Kalyani tried so many ways to free herself but at least she ended up in deshmukh mansion

Kalyani used to hate anupriya but when she got to know that her mother was wrong n because of her parents anu faced so many difficulties in life then she had a change of heart but that time she also got to know that anu too hate her but slowly slowly they became mother n daughter n for that the credit goes to atharv

KalMa's story

Malhar used to be a very caring n jumble guy

He used to love his wife

Anupriya was his Maai (he used to treat her like a mother)

So basically he was the perfect husband,perfect son n a perfect son in law

Everyone used to love him as a person

when kalyani came in ahilya niwas ( deshmukh mansion) he was the only one who accepted her n guided her truly...he was always there for her even he was the only one who was actually trying to bridge the gap between AnuYani

Sampada was pregnant n they both were happy

Atharv is pallavi's brother n he was too living with deshmukh's

One day kalyani got confused that atharv is dating a girl...so she fixed his marriage with a girl whom she assumed is his girlfriend...but on the night of engagement K saw A with some other girl n she asked him about that girl...atharv wanted to hide his relationship with his GF so he created a scene n told everyone that he loves kalyani...kalyani opposed his behavior but aao saheb fixed their wedding

Then finally K turned 18...on her birthday she n anupriya got to know that sampada is atharv's GF but sampada said that she used to love atharv but now she only loves Malhar after hearing this atharv got mad n kidnapped sampda

Malhar assumes that his wife is in Mumbai

After that AnuYani made do many plans to free sampada but they never got success

Once when sampada was in labour pain kalyani did find her n she was the one who helped S in her delivery but again atharv reached there n again kidnapped S

Then AnuYani came home with pillu but they hide him from malhar n rest of the family

At last week got to know that Sampada n atharv r together in this

Then lastly AnuYani got to know that S is no innocent but S & A managed to escape

Sampada who always hated kalyani for ruining her mother's life wrote a fake letter in which she has written that AnuYani helped her n A in eloping

Then malhar got his n S's divorce papers

From that day malhar is in angry young man mode

Now he hates AnuYani more than anything

His baby was a newborn but he was so close to K so aao saheb suggested Malhar to get married to K just for his baby's sake n he accepted aao saheb's proposal

But he wanted to torture K that's why he marry her

Thank you so much @Sonal for the wonderful summary. You've given a quite detailed recap and it has helped me put things in some perspective.

However, just one last question, in the above quoted para you've mentioned "slowly slowly they became mother n daughter n for that the credit goes to atharv", so that makes atharv a positive character no? or did you mean malhar and 'atharv' was just a typing error?

So Madhuri n atul's relationship was illegitimate...so madhuri's father (n aparna's father in law) suggested everyone that now atul n anu should get divorced so that atul can marry madhuri but aao saheb refused it n because of aao saheb anu too refused to give Atul divorce...then Aparna's FIL said if u r not ready to accept my daughter then we also don't want ur daughter (aparna)in our house...that time aparna to cried in front of aao saheb n anu but aao saheb rejected her plea too n said i can feed my daughter n grand daughter but i won't let anu divorce atul...so maduri's family ( n aparna's in laws) left aparna n sampada in dekhmukh house

Coz madhuri was atul's second wife that's why their relationship was illegitimate n just because of that everyone calls kalyani Nazayaz ( illegitimate).
