but for Marvel and DC, the individual movies were going on for quite a few sequels...before they came together...also i think the difference is that its fantasy...with Aliens and superpowers and different worlds...like when we see Avengers movies, every character has their own superpower and used accordingly... it will be very interesting to see if they can do that with these cops...cause i dont want a movie like Khakhi for Veer...where he has to play second fiddle to Ajay or Akshay, just cause they are senior to him ... No, some Marvel DC characters were part of Justice League and Avenger before their individual movies came out. Aquaman was part of Justice League that came out in 2017 but his individual movie came out in 2018. I think there are some others as well I'm not a comic/ superhero buff so not that well versed on this front but my husband is one and he talks about it a lot which I block out most of the time. 😆

Buddy cop movie can be done with all the protagonists having meaty parts. There are many hollywood buddy cop movies. In buddy cop movies the two cops have conflicting/different personalities work together to solve crimes. The cheeky, loud fun-loving, ott Simmba and the serious, straight arrow Singham is typical characters for a buddy cop movie. The clashes they will have due to their contrasting personalities and beliefs the good cop bad cop angle are plots made for a buddy cop movie. Although most buddy cop movies I have seen are about two cops so have no idea if three cops is a norm in buddycop movies.
