Hello peeps

This is my first post in this forum n I m not sure how many will follow...but today I have a confession

I never made any post here in spite of watching every episode since inception because I had more complaints than praises always. The bond between the brothers had me loving this show from day one. The next being omkara tej arguments because the two actors had marvelous chemistry. N the next being the group masti of all youngsters like during the Mallika track which used to be something that would really bring "freshness".

Unlike u all, I was never a "fan" of shivika because their angry young man n chirpy girl story was too stereotypical for me n acting wise NM's swag n anger used to look very forced n artificial to me n SC's chirpiness a bit OTT which is dislike my taste of subtly. So I didn't really approve of the recognition n praises they received worldwide n things looked biased to me n I started developing more dislike for their acting n characters (the non sense story added to it more) (This is not bashing, this is just my personal opinion n I truly respect all your choice of loving shivika)

But now, when I binge watched this week's episodes (which btw I finished 5 in 30 mins) I really miss shivika! I still stick to my opinion that I didn't like the characters n actors too much, but if it's IB, it has to be Shivika Rikara & Rumya (for me). What non sense is even happening currently! Who's this boring female lead? (Actor n character both r equally boring) I m a maharashtrian girl who has closely followed Marathi tv, there were thousand better options for this role trust me! N then when I get to watch 2 mins shivika at the end of every episode, those two minutes give me a feel that I watched something... even though the flashbacks r Bina haath pair k n even though Annika's saree is hurting my eyes now...but still...that part of the episode only feels like lively n "fresh" unlike the rest of the episode which is claimed to be fresh by the boss ladies. Never in my wildest dreams had I thought that I would say I miss Shivika, but yesss I do.

I had watched this show initially because I really liked it overall n later out of habit n the habit still goes on but the habit hurts my eyes now thanks to the out of the world storyline n super amazing actors.

Like someone mentioned earlier, I too remembered Annika's entry in the OM which though was not dramatic like Aditi's but it was wonderful. That whole scene from Shivika's play of words to OmRu's yeh ho kya Raha hai to Annika's "check *pause* mate" to SSO's baffled plus speechless plus defeated plus angry expressions...that was EPIC...n that was one of the scenes where I had totally loved SC! Aur yeh kal kya hua!! I too had equally clueless expression as OmRu thinking yeh ho kya Raha hai. The class is totally missing from the show right now...this really looks totally sadakchhap.

I still don't miss SSO because I never really liked the actor n character n undue importance given to it in the storyline always (just how I generally don't like the mahaan bahu's of other soaps) but I dearly miss Annika now. They better stop giving these FBs because where they r supposed to help selling this crap of a story, they r rather giving more hurt n anger to the viewers because this is totally unacceptable for us to have this non sense replacing the ones in the flashbacks. Actually IB never made any sense to me, but this 2.0 is definitely more non sensical than 1.0

The one who was never a fond of lead pair is missing that pair...this should be enough of a report card for this dhinchak IB to the ladies in their own lala land!

(Couple of times in the past when I dared give my personal opinions regarding what I expect from this show on some other platforms, I faced the infamous immature fans of huge IB fandom, I hope over here I m not misunderstood to be spreading negativity or bashing any actor, because I m really not, aai shapath!)

Good Lawd! I just had the misfortune of watching Nakuul perform Badtameez Dil (his vid was in comparison with Ranbir on a SM tag). I thought NM is a trained dancer??? Don't get W*F he is smoking while performing this Dhinchak version. Have u seen an actor overcompensating in everything he does whether it is dialogue delivery, dancing, carrying his attire yet lacking in energy & conviction. Acting is something that flows naturally out of an actor. This doesn't look natural. He really seems to be hard-pressed to prove that he alone can carry the mantle of such a huge show. He might or might not have asked for such a huge responsibility but since he's stuck with it toh ab izzat ka sawaal hai. And he seems to be missing the attention as well😆

I can't comment comment on the story-line coz haven't watched a single scene on tv barring a couple of Shivika FBs😊 Ugh...they still are such love.

Regarding the FL, I haven't watched a single scene of hers apart from some twitter caps. But she screams mediocrity in the promo toh I don't know what she's gonna reflect in entirety! Nakuul looks really old & haggard in his new look & the new FL still looks older than him.😕

We won't know whether audience is liking or has accepted the leap until we observe its trps for a month. And if we go by social media then the only people rooting for the leap or discussing it are NM's die-hard fans or other IB couple's fans. Their waxing lyrical about NM's BD dance & how it even surpasses Ranbir's performance made me realize kitna genuine review hai🤣

Though I like NM with beard, this look is not bad...I think the HS he uses in the show is different than his off screen ones...that's why I am okay with it or I am now used to seeing him beardless...

Makers wanted to give almost complete make over to NM and distinguish from his old character...so they kind of went with this...if his looks were not altered, ppl would go back to their expectations of being Shivaay !

Also I have seen comments on the other platform where ppl are warming about the new character...mind you these are not the usual fangirls...

Though I like NM with beard, this look is not bad...I think the HS he uses in the show is different than his off screen ones...that's why I am okay with it or I am now used to seeing him beardless...

He looks much better in kj's shaadi videos and in Alekh's function pics,he looks almost like shivaay particularly in Alekh's function pics 😆.As in those pics there was more focus on his other side of head where hair is not plucked out😆 and in those pics, there is no proper lighting to highlight his lack of beard😆. But in the show where camera mainly focus on plucked out part it gets noticed more and also the make up man making his hair on back side bush and at the top of the head is gelled up to make hair erect and in shaadi functions his hair is combed down well😆.And also in the process of trying to look bubbly like his mother Anika,he is trying lame antics like head shakings,wierd face expressions making him look like monkey🤣.NM doesnt try to act bubbly in shaadi functions and he was his natural self there😆.I think i explained more than enough😆,but pls you have to watch atleast yesterday episode to understand what i am referring to😆.
