He can do any roles, but must come out of scripts which are essentially focussing on love-stories. No one prefers to see a 50+ yr old man romancing with someone/realizing his love/falling in love etc for 3 long hours.

If Salman n Aamir can play Hero roles, Srk has no reason to not play lead. His films are only flopping because of poor script. Also he should stop pairing himself with Anushka Sharma. Among the yonger lot, DP is his best pairing.

Cannot comment about Salman as I haven't watched any of his recent movies, but Aamir has stopped doing the conventional 'hero' roles since some time now...He is a good example of how one can play the 'hero' without being the romantic lead..SRK has rarely tried to do that, but whenever he did, he had been applauded..

Yeah, i agree. I meant main lead, not a supporting character i guess.

I think srk was really good in all the hatke roles he tried to do as well. Its just poor script n bad luck that those movies flopped.
