Ishaan is slightly on a different boat than Mauli. Mauli trusted her husband who was her partner for so many years and her life long best friend. Even she was a fool to place so much trust in their relationship but then again she said if she can't trust these two people then whom can she trust. With Ishaan not only does he not have that type of long relationship with Mauli, there is so much he doesn't seem to know about her. Like this whole husband/best friend cheating thing which is a huge part of her life.
3 years isnt a short interval of time.. and its a mutual trust that they have on each other.. i know it is not shown that mauli has any feelings for him. but letting her daughter call some man other than her husband popsie is a big deal.. i dont know why it isnt discussed yet. but it is a huge thing.. society doesnt accept such things.. mauli never told kunal about nandini . she always kept her as a secret.. she used to make kheer for her bday but never showed her picture to kunal.. wasnt that a big deal?? its just so mauli.. she doesnt want to recall things which hurts her.. ishaan told to kunal that mauli never even told him about her past.. she didnt told him why her husband left her.. but its not that she ia hiding something or is not interested telling him. its her nature.. ishaan only told kunal that she never intended/wanted to badmouth about kunal and thats why he loves her.. He is naive and should be cautious at this point. He loved her for 3 years and she hadn't shown any signs of moving towards him until the day she came face to face with her ex. WHY? That is such a obvious red flag.

3 years.. hmmm. long or short.. i guess its a matter of perspective.. and he has known her for 3 years. exactly when did he tell her about his feelings is still not known.. and why should he think that she still loves her husband and thats why she couldnt move on..? she is living with her ex husband's family but kunal doesnt live with them. doesnt it show that kunal must have done something which he shouldnt have.. ?? and after he got to know that kunal has backstabbed her and cheated on her, that too by going in an affair with her best friend only. dont u think he had this impression that mauli can never ever be with kunal again ..?? as a viewer even i cant imagine she can choose kunal.
Then the reason she gave him was not because that she suddenly has feelings for him but that she wants to move on and he would be a great partner. So if this is the first day she is deciding to move on what was she doing all this other time? Was she still stuck on her past? Shouldn't he seriously wonder this?
i said this that time as well that he shouldnt let this matter go . as in he should notice this.. and he did.. and he asked this. dont u think the reason she gave to dida and rashika and to him was fair?? i defended mauli that time also.. its a natural thing that when we see our ex happy we have that shitty feeling that he has moved on but i couldnt.. and it can be a reality check for many.. also there was no maunal angle.. i actually felt that she wanted to move on and its a reality check for her. waise i still feel that.. i wonder why?? 😕
She was all over him during the dinner. Have we ever seen her behave that way with him? Usually during every other scene of physical proximity she becomes very stiff and conscious so I am assuming she is not doing such things with Ishaan regularly.
this!! did u see the engagement dance?? did u see the way she was behaving with him that day?? her happiness when she saw the decor?? did u notice that she even teased him that if he really wanted to take everybody to this place?? (to that romantic set up?) i felt that she is actually taking baby steps towards him.. she decided to get engaged and she was happy that day.. she was happy for herself too. thats why she liked the place and the way she behaved there. later she showed that she is happy as mishti has got a good father. and i was like lol .. somebody go and tell this girl that u werent dancing awestruck for mishti nor were u happy seeing the romantic set up for mishti..
do u really want ishaan and me to ignore all this?? Ishaan is basically a father to Mishti and soon he will be Mauli's legally wedded husband. But when it came to adopting Mishti so Kunal can be cut out of their lives she didn't let him. Even he wondered why she was doing that when she herself is saying Kunal will never be around them. But again he just let it go..
should he have insisted her to make him mishti's legal father when she clearly told him there is no need?? and he didnt let the matter go , he was upset.. he asked her if she is sure about them and she only assured him saying all those good words about him..
Mauli has shown to have no romantic feelings for him. NONE. If you are in a relationship with someone and your partner doesn't love you then one of the first things you wonder is why? Is it an ex? Is the person just not capable of loving... He doesn't seem to worry at all that Mauli was smiling Jaana in her sleep and turned oh so serious when she woke up and saw him. I get it Mishti was there. But when has she ever been romantic with him.
she was taking baby steps towards him but again kunal ji happened.. not only me but many felt that she was taking steps towards him. now makers want maunal angle so ishaan is sidelined for sometime. but i cant forget all that happened before maunal thing started..
then the most important thing.. he saw her at mazaar. she didnt lie about going to mazaar. she didnt lie about meeting kunal.. doesnt all these things are building up his trust on her??
He is so oblivious to everything. Mauli still lives with her in laws who are back on good terms with their son. Again something he is pretending to not see.

If Mauli is not ready to lose this family of hers, like so far the intention is he will come live with them not that Mauli will go live with him. Is he really ignoring that someday Radhika and Dida might want their own son and other granddaughter home? He happily said forget Kunal, I will be your beta. Boy slow down and read their face expressions. They already have a beta and they are happy with him again.

Trusting everything someone says without reading the things that are not being said is a sign of naivete. I hope Mauli doesn't cheat on him because that is not who she is. But tomorrow if she breaks his heart and says she is in love with Kunal then he should see it coming. There is so much he doesn't know about who she really is. He shouldn't place so much trust on someone whose past is basically unknown to him.
i have summed up all what i feel about them. its a mutual trust @rimjhimm.. its not one sided. and mauli is very much responsible for building his trust on her. even spmetimes i say this that i have blind faith on mauli who is just a character. u r trusting her by saying she will not cheat him bcz she isnt such person..
and trust me he isnt someone who will hold her responsible for breaking his heart..
