Episode No102 Monday 3/3/08

Sara and mom having a nadu road conference ( looks
like Sara is all set to have conferences in the nadu
road - comes rent free!!!) Mom shows the invitation and
general senti talk -" I know that this invitation is to ask
me not to come." Mom says that if he still wants to come
for the wedding he can do so -"Divya vithi padi aagattum".
Sara promises to stay away "will stand as one of those
beggars waiting for food outside and bless my sister, do not
worry." Mom leaves crying, Sara sees the invitation and
cries some more. Mom and Divya -mom crying and Divya
says that it is time mom put her foot down and tell Shan that
Sara should come. Mom says that she does not want to rock
the boat now as this is a good thing happening after a long
time in their family. Shan is listening to this and Divya alerts
mom.

Shan listening to the conversation between mom and Divya.
He is categorical about Sara not coming for the wedding.
Mom now fumes - " Sara has as much rights as u have with
Divya. But I requested him not to come and he obliged."
Shan rubs more salt " enna ?? avan varalai nnu romba feel
panrappile irukku?? Intha wedding is all because of me,
my work, my money, my efforts, ok?? don't do any planning
behind my back!!"

Cheenu, dad, mom and Revathi - invitation list is being made.
Cheenu talks about people who will just eat and go away are
not welcome. "Kaile kaasu vaiyile dosai - panam kudutha than
sapadu, illatta kazhuthai pidichi thalliduven" -Mom says that
people who come to the wedding are there to bless. Their
blessings will make the couple live happily. Dad says that
after all Cheenu is marrying a poor girl - not an engineer or
doctor, just a kanjan's sis!!! Cheenu says that if his dad sells
people and make money, he is capable of selling their shadows
and making money. Now Cheenu makes a big fuss about Divya's
stature - "oh, she is a millionaire's sis, yes she is Sara's sister.
No one knows that I know about it. You guys also keep quiet
about this, ok??" Mom asks if that is true why are they separated.
Cheenu narrates the story in muted dialogue and instructs all
to keep shut. "please do not spill the story and spoil my life",
All disperse, mom deems it fit to put her finger on her lip!!

Episode No 103 Tuesday 4/3/08

Karthik's house. His parents are getting ready to go
some where. MIL calls Priya and asks for some thing.
Priya brings it and gives it to MIL silently. MIL is upset
that Priya cold shoulders them all the time and wants to
know if she does not like them. FIL goes on to say that
they never questioned her about the police visit or Vijay's
mom's visit. Priya is still silent and Karthik comes to her
rescue. Asks his parents to carry on with their work and
leave Priya alone. Parents are now upset that their son
has changed and does not respect them any more. Mom
wants to say some thing but dad stops her -" intha insult
poraatha?? innum konjam vaangi kattikkanumaa? vaayai
moodindu polaam vaa" - they leave and Karthik pacifies
Priya. Village - the nurse girl and her father - both talking
about raising the amount to be given to Cheenu for her job
abroad. Dad feels bad about selling the land which is like
their mother but finally agrees to sell " neeyum namba
kudumba nallathu kku thaane abroad pore??!!" Karthik's
parents come back. Karthik calls "appa" and dad bursts out
his displeasure. Mom tows the line and says that if Karthik
does not want them to talk to his wife or leave the house they
are ready to do so. Goes on to ask Priya if she is now happy
and now Karthik shouts'Niruthunga"

Karthik spills the beans to his parents - Priya's sojourn with
Vijay and her killing him - parents are shocked. Priya goes
on to say that she did not intentionally kill Vijay. She did that
only out of respect for Karthik and his family. The parents are
understanding now. Karthik asks his dad for ideas to deal with
this situation -"appa she is ready to surrender if I ask her to.
What do we do?" - dad says that what Priya did is not an offense
and they will take care of their DIL -"act as if nothing is wrong
and we will be together in this." Karthik and Priya feel better.
Almighty's office - she and Divya are standing near a desk -
Cheenu comes from behind Divya and closes her eyes. Divya
panics and realizes it is "avar" - Sara walks in and Cheenu
does a Roja act😳 - gives an asattu sirippu😳 -

Cheenu says that he came to see Sara only - Sara takes him
in along with Divya and Kaveri. Cheenu first apologizes for
playing with Divya in the office -" if this happened in my office,
I would have shouted and asked if it is an office or play ground.
But I played with Divya only because of .. this..." Gives the
wedding invitation and forces Sara to attend the wedding. Sara
says that the wedding may not happen if he comes there. Cheenu
does his usual bhandha -" i am the groom and I am inviting you.
if Shan has a problem wit that I do not care. For me, u are more
important than Shan" - asks akka to recommend and almighty
is sad that even her words failed to make Sara accept. Finally,
Cheenu and Divya do a namaskaram and Sara blesses them.
Sara tells Cheenu that Divya is his life and wants Cheenu to
take good care of her. Sudaram is on the phone with one Kaasi
asking him to finish off "him" -" avan inime yen kannile pada koodathu,ok?" - comes in to find Giri sitting on the dining table
and eating some thing. Mrs.Sundaram calls Giri as Indran!!!
Giri welcomes Sundaram and Sundaram frets -" nee eppo
vanthe?' Giri says that he came here quite some time back
and goes to say that he did not bring Latha this time - " next
time koottittu varen" - Mrs. Sundaram asks " Latha vaa?? athu yaaru?" Giri says " unglalukkellam romba vendiyavanga. Thangamaana ponnu, ava mathiri ulakathiliye uthama maana
ponnu vera yaarum illai.. Latha yaarunna..." Sundaram frets
and sweats....

Episode 104 Wednesday 5/3/08

Recap - "Latha yaar theriyumaa?".... " my sister" - Sundaram
heaves a sigh of relief. Mom and daughter inform Sundaram
that "Indran" is highly influential -" commissioner, DIG ellarum
ivar kooda padichavangalaam. MLA, MP ellarum friends aam.
Namba Vijay ai epdiyaavathu kandu pidichu tharennu solliyirukar".
Sundaram manages to take Giri aside and threatens to kill him.
Giri warns him that if he is killed, Sundaram will be in more trouble.
Finally Sundaram offers money to Giri. Giri says that he will collect
it when ever it is convenient for him. Giri leaves and Sundaram
calls Kaasi again - "padam eduthu aadara pambai adichi thaan aaganum". Eashu on her coy act again - Sara and Arun are doing
some thing. Eashu bring Divya's wedding invitation and starts the
drama. " I am interested in your family. I know how much u miss
your sis and mom. I have a lot of money but no relatives. I have
planned as to how I should be in future. You won't believe me, I
know, just have a look at what I have got for Divya's wedding.
Amma, bring those things and show, paarunga" - saguni mom
brings a plate - sari, currency, jewels etc., with fruits. Sara is
suspicious of course but throws a sidelong glance.

Eashu continues her act -" poo, pazham, a sari for 10,000 rs,
and cash of 20,000 , all this is for starters, for the wedding I
plan to do much more" Sara says that he knows all this is an
act and does not want to tow her line - " if u go and give all this
my brother is not some ilicha vaayan to accept " Eashu says
that she is not worried about Shan not inviting her and she does
not want to fail in her duty. Sara tries to dissuade her but she
makes Arun call his dad to go along with Eashu. Arun calls Sara
to come to paatti's house -" enakkum avangalai ellam pakkanum
nnu aasai ya irukku dad, polaam vaanga". Sara agrees but says
that Eashu has some hidden agenda and it is not some thing
good. They leave, Eashu enters Shan's house - ' atthhai".....

Eashu talks.... talks..... and talks...(was a pain to listen to her
bantering!!) - " yaaranum veetukku vantha ukkara vaikkanum,
coffee offer pannanum, ithellam culture. theriyaatha atthhai??"
Shan asks her to get out of the house. Eashu says that Shan is
just a poochi in front of the mighty Eashu and she has come to
do 'seer " to her SIL. Shan does not want her gifts and Eashu
goes to her MIL offering the gifts. MIL shouts back saying
that Eashu is not welcome in this house" unnai yaar vethilai
pakku vaichu azhaicha???" Sara tries to quieten Eashu and
appeals to Shan -" take this as if it comes from a third person
and let us go" Shan says that they are not beggars to accept
gifts from a third person. Eashu tells her kozhunthanaar that
he is a beggar -' 15 car vasalile nikkanume?/ enge kaanum?
ellam parked inside the cupboard?" Sara sends Arun to the
car and appeals once again. Shan shouts some more and Eashu
does not stop her tirade....

Episode 105 Thursday 6/3/08

Recap of Eashu shouting some more and Sara making
an attempt to shut her up. Eashu makes sure to shout
some more and finally gives another coy act -" polaam,
ithukku mele neenga kova patta ennale thaanga ve
mudiyaathu" - They leave, Shan and family are still
dazed. Cheenu's office - three girls are there asking
about their Middle East job. Cheenu as usual talks big
" make sure that yr dad does not go to some farm work,
some one must be home to receive the passport, miss
panninaa apram local job than" Pooja says that she will
arrange for the money in 2 days. Arun is unhappy. Almighty
consoles him and makes him meet Divya. Aunt and nephew
have a nice chat and Divya promises to bring her mom to
the temple to meet Arun. Almighty gives a benevolent look.

Giri is waylaid by some rowdies, kidnapped and taken to the
beach. As they are about to slash him, he begs to make a
phone call. Calls Sundaram and says that he may be a small fry
but an intelligent criminal. Goes on to say that if he does not
reach home safe, his friend will make posters from the album
of Sundaram and paste them all over Madras. Threatens
Sundaram that if the posters are out in the open Mrs.S and
his daughter will have to commit suicide -'epdi vasathi?"

Giri makes Sundaram talk to his men and gets released.
When the rowdies want to take him back, Giri asks the
leader to get him tandoori chicken and a full bottle " now
u are getting money with out doing any work and that is
because of me, ok?" The rowdy runs to get the bottle.
Pooja's dad has sold the land for a song and feels bad
about it -" selling the land is like selling one's own child,
so what?? if u go abroad and earn, we will buy some thing
new" Pooja is upset but says that she wants to go abroad
only to make money for their family. Promises to take
care of her father in his old age. Dad is unhappy that they
won't be able to see her for 3 years. He gives her some
food items prepared by her sisters . Wants her to take care
of her health, dad leaves.. Pooja cries....

Episode 106 Friday 7/3/08

Divya and mom come to the temple. Mom feels bad about
Sara coming to their house and how she could not say a
word to her grand son. Asks Divya " antha payyan peru
enna Divya?" - Arun comes and joins "Arun paatti" - mom
is happy to see her grand son. Seats him by her side and
puts vibhoothi on his forehead. Asks him whether his mom
and dad fight at home always.Arun keeps quiet and she knows
the answer!!! Almighty joins the family which now becomes
extended family!!! She says that she is the one who brought
Arun and once again confirms her promise "Unga kudumbathai
serthu vaika vendiyathu is my responsibility" Now , mom wants
Almighty to be a part of the immediate family -" Am Inot athai
to u as well?? I am athai to yr bro Cheenu, after all!!" Arun
seconds the motion and almighty establishes ownership then
and there "saringa athai."

Priya and Karthik - Priya's parents have come with the
wedding invitation. Karthik warns her not to expose her fears
to her parents. Karthik's parents give a good conduct
certificate to their DIL Priya. Priya is making coffee and
Savithri probes about her happiness. Priya says that all is
well. Cries saying that she never understood the love of
her mother. Savithri consoles.

Almighty and Sara in conference. Shan has come to invite the
MD - Sara asks almighty to lead him to Aanand's room. But
almighty says that she will bring Shan here and expose the
real MD -" rendule onnu ioopvepathudalaam"- Sara refuses
saying that the wedding might be stopped if Shan comes to
know the truth. Shan meets Aanand and gives him the rights
to think of Shan as his thambi and Dviya as his thangai. "U
are so important to us and this is your sister's wedding, ok?"
Sara, almighty and Divya sport a sad face...

Monday, March 10, Episode 107

Sundaram is getting ready to go out but gets shocked to see Giri entering in with some attitude. Whem giri asks for money he takes out a bundle of currency and tells him to take that Rs50,000. Bur giri gets angry and threatens him he will tell the truth about Latha to his family and he calls "Lathaaaa...." Here comes Latha and she asks" enna ex athaan how are you?" By this time Vidya and Geetha come out and guess Latha as Giri's sister.

After some sarcastic talks Latha is taken inside to the kitchen by Vidya and Geetha to cook some food. Giri and Sundaram are left alone and Giri starts his business and finally he asks for 10 lakhs. Sundaram first hesitates then starts bargains and finally he agrees to give the amount within two days. Giri warns Sundaram not to think of any other dramas to kill him.....then his whole family will come to know about everything and he still can not live in peace. At this point Vidya comes and calls Giri to come into kitchen to help them in making ennai kathirikka.....?????

Cheenu and Senthil are in his office. Pooja and her two friends come with money. Pooja asks whether everything will be ok with their visa. At this point Divya comes in...and Senthil was about to get that money from those girls but Cheenu stops him and requests Pooja and other girls to hand over the money to Divya. But Divya is shcoked and refuses. But Cheenu forces her to get that money as he thinks that her hands are lucky ones to start this collection. Hearing this Divya becomes happy and receives tghe money.

Now Cheenu asks Divya to give that money to Senthil. He asks Senthil to deposit that amount in the bank company account....and also he also asks him to buy two good coffee from Saravana Bava...Pooja promises that other six gilrs will pay their money within teo days.Senthil comes out and calls Eashu. But Eashgu's mom picks up the phone and Senthil tells," Amma....it is ok....I will call leter....appadiya...sari appo...vishayam ithuthaan...this Cheenu is jumping too much he is treating me like a servant..please tell akka to put this cheenu in his place" Eashu's mom asks him not to worry about it and to come home immediately.

Old lady goes to Eashu who is relaxing in the garden swing and tells her about Senthil's phone call and tells that she is so confused about the way Eashu deals with Cheenu. Eashu smiles wickedly and tells," Amma....who is Cheenu....the person who is going to marry my naathanaar...right...?..but do you think thast I will let this wedding takes place....nadakkum.....both Cheenu and Divya will go the wedding altar ...but instead of thaali on Divya's neck.....cheenu's hand will receive hand cuffs from the police.....

Tuesday, March 11, Episode 108

Conversation between Eashu and her mom continues. Eashu explains her plans about putting Cheenu into trouble. " Ammmmaaa.....what is going to happen is...the police come will come to the kalayana mandabam to arrest Cheenu....and after that the SI will go to my purushan Saravanan and he will thank him for bringing such a fruad out to the law....then what will happen....that Shanmugam will develop more enemity ....this Kaveri will start hating my husband...which is want I want......now do you understand amma....??

The old lady tells that she understands this situation but she can not understand how Eashu is going to achieve this. So eashu continues," Look amma....Amma what kind of business this Cheenu is doing?.....an agency which sends workers to foregin countries ma.....right now he has in his hands 9 laddu like prtetty girls....but one of those girls will be my girl.....Cheenu will sincerely send these girls to the airport after getting visa for them......but from the airport my men will bring them to our place and lock them up. Then my kayaal girl will go to the police and she will make a big scene and complain to them that Cheenu was trying to sell them to some foregin people.........how do like this amma?"

The oldie laughs and tells good idea but how saravanan gets invloved in this drama. Eashu replies," just wait and watch...he is the hero in this drama....but in his sister's wedding matter he will become a zero amma....ha ha ha ha" Senthil comes there and Eashu asks him to look for a good and bold girl .

Shanmugam and Kaveri are in a garden restaurant. Kaveri hesitates and tells," I want to tell you something....mmm....vandu....I want all your relatives should attened Divya-Cheenu's wedding.....I mean your brother.....can he attened this wedding?? I am sorry if I asked anything wrong..."

Shanmugam replies," no...you did not ask any wrong but you talked about a wrong person....I have already told you about him....and how much we suffered because of him...we do not want to even talk about him...." Kaveri asks," we means.....you mean your mother and divya?...but I think may be they love your brother but they are scared to tell you...caan this be true?"

Shanmugam replies," no...no there is no chance at all for that to happen because just two days back they came to my house and insulted us so much...suppose ..my mom and sister want to be with 'him"..it isd ok...I have no objection at all.....I will tell them to go and live with him only...but I will simply vanish away from here...and after that none of you can see me forever..."

Kaveri gets scared to hear this and tells," sorrynga.....let us talk about something else. I will never talk about this matter to you anymore" Shanmugam also replies," aammanga...there is so much to talk about so many things....vaanga..."

In Karthik's house...telephone ringsand Priya picks up the phone and was shocked to know that from the other end Vijay's mom is pleading her not to disconnect. She asks whether Vijay called her from somewhere...Priya screams at her," aunty why are you torturing me like this....Vijay can not call me anymore at all....never....I mean...he must have realised that he can never get me.....please do not call me..." Karthik is listening to the whole conversation . Priya runs to her room and starts crying. Karthik consoles her and asks her not to be scared like this. Karthik tells that he has spoken to his frined in Singapore...so they can go and be there for sometime.

Shanmugam is with his mom and Divya sitting in his house calculating the jewels. He counts upto 40 pavun and his mom asks him to buy 5 more pavan. At this point Cheenu suddenly enters there. He tells that he simply felt like seeing them.Shanmugam requests him to spend some time until evening with them. His mom goes in to prepare virunthu...Shanmugam also follows him.

Cheenu gives a jewel box to Divya and tells that it is small gift from him. She opens it and gets shocked to see a diamond necklace in it and she refuses to receive that. Cheenu pleads her to accept it. She asks how much is the price and he tells that it is one lakh and sifty thousand RS. Divya is terrified to hear this amount and she refuses to take it. Cheenu asks," ok....if ytour mom and brother accepts will you take it......? athae.....athe..... vannga.....paarunga athai...your ponnu is refusing to take it"

Divya tells them the price and they both also flatly refuse and tell," ithellam engalukku vendam thambi" Cheenu laughs and tells," ayo....I am not giving this to you....it is for my future wife. This is bought out of my own money....Shanmugam you will not understand this now....when you have a girl you will understand....this is not just a diamond necklace for us....it is our manasu.....anbu....."

Both Shanmugam and his mom smiles happily. Shanmugam goes to buy some chicken and his mom asks Cheenu whether she can bring some "moru". Cheenu replies," If don't get cold with that moru...it is ok with me..." ( ayo so much bandaaaa....) Mom leaves from there. Cheenu puts the necklace on Divya's neck and stares at her......with so much satisfaction...while Divya smiles at him happily........

Wednesday, March 12, Episode 109

One young girl (???? according to Eashu ...a gilly party ponnu.......but to me she looks like a songi party)enters a building with some attitude. She goen into an appartment where the nurses Pooja and others live. She introduces herself as Anu Radha/Anu. She tells that she is also a nurse and came to know about some agency which sends nurses to abroad. She requests pooja to introduce her to that agency. Pooja says," that is not a problem but they will ask you to pay one lakh" Anu readily answers that she is aware of this and she has come with that money.

Pooja takes anu and four more of her friends to Cheenu's office. Anu pays the money to Cheenu and he promisses to her that he will defenitely add her also in the other girls list. He asks them to leave their passports with him. He tells," Pooja as soon as your visa documents and others papers are ready I will inform you....with the date of departure and you will have bring others here..and I will see that you all will leave together to the arport..." Anu thanks cheenu and tells Pooja to wait as she has to make a phone call to her house.

She goes out and takes Senthil with her to one corner and calls Eashu and informs her everything. Eashu congratulates her and tells that she will tell her later about what she has to do next...and asks her to be alert always.

In his house Shanmugam is sitting and calculating miney and witing about wedding expenses. Divya comes and tells him that she feels bad about all this expenses. His mom also joins them. Shanmugam asks Divya not to worry and he tells her that he feels such a joy in spending for his onky sister. AT this point Viswa comes there and he tells them that he has something to tell them about the wedding.

Both Shan and his mom are worried and get ready to listen to Viswa.Viswa starts," Look Shanmugam...as of today my son is a hot cake in the kalyana market....I have been getting calls after calls from the girls' parents....even one of my factory owner friend called me and told that he wants to make my son as his son in law and he offered 100 pavan jewels and 10 lakhs, car, bunglows etc etc....but how can we accept as we have even printed wedding card....so my wife told me to come here and ask just for two lakhs more...that is all......and if you do not give that...may be I can simply walk away from this proposal by tearing off this wedding invitation....."

Shanmugam mom starts pleading him..and Shanmugam also gets worried.Viswa " Shanmugam ...you just tell me whether you will be able to give me that two lakhs or not....I am sking this just for the wedding expenses only right?" Shanmugam tells that it is really impossible for him. Then Viswa starts bargaining and finally he fixes the deal with one lakh Rs. Divya interferes and asks Shanmugam to tell that they can not afford that kind of money. But her mom shouts at her and takes her inside.

Viswa tells that young people these days are very bold. He asks Shanmugam again about the money and somehow Shanmugan agrees to pay. Now Viswa tells," Ok....I am very happy now....but you should never talk about this either to Cheenu or to Kaveri. You have to give this money within two days...I will call you and let you know the place where you should come to pay me...ok....varattuma?" He leaves and Shanmugam and his mom see each other helplessly.

Karthik in reading newspaper in his house. His neighbour comes and asks for some butter milk for orai. Karthik calls Priya and Priya brings some Thayir and gives her and that maami asks her," Ennamma Priya you look so exhausted..are you pregnent?...or you both are avoiding to be pregnant.....do not do that Karthik...you should prove to the society that you both are living as husband and wife by bringing out a child into this world......keep this in your mind" Hearing this Priya and Karthik look at each other ...stunning.....

Thursday, March 13, Episode 110

Divya is pretneding that she is in deep sleep. Her worried mom gets up and goes out closing the bedroom door to discuss the dowry matter with Shanmugam. They both talk so much about money....paasam....etc etc. Mom asks Shanmugam how he is going to arrange for that extra one lakh.

He replies," amma...it is ok ammma we can apawn the house documents and get money. All this I am doinf because it is for my thangachee....who will not marry anyone else but Cheenu...I love her more than my ownself so I have to do this amma for her" Hearing this Divya runs and reaches Shanmugam's chest and cries her heart out. He asks her not to worry about anything.

In Karthik's house he and Priya are in their bed room. They stare at each other for sometime and Karthik slowly moves close to Priya and holds her hands....Priya as if she was waiting for this...quickly places her face on his chest and hugs him and starts crying. They forget each other for a moment...but suddenly Vijay's face appears outside the window and P starts screaming. Karthik goes and checks and comes back tells her that there is no one.He trties to console her but no use. Priya cries telling that wherever she goes that Vijay will never allow her to live peacefully. Karthik forces her to sleep....and Priya agrees to that. She requests Karthik to ne next to her and not to go away from her.

Shanmugam goes to maarvadi's pawn shop and asks for one lakh rupees. That man asks him about Saravanan but Shanmugam shouts at him and asks him to check the documents and give money. Meantime...Viswa comes to Shanmugam's house and waits for the money.

Shanmugam comes with the money and hands over that to Viswa. He starts crying and tells Viswa that he can not give any more money and requests him not to ask for more. Seeing this Viswa feels bad and tells," ayo....if I am standing here for another minute you will even make me cry...but one thing this is what all the boy's parents do in this world....ok....thambi I hope you did not tell anyone about this.....after all I am doing this just to make my wife happy....see ..I am going straight to my house and I will hand over this to Saavithri.....ok...varattuma?" He leaves...Divya cries telling Shanmugam that ...is it all becaus eof her...But Shanmugam consoles her.

Friday, March 14, Episode 111

Cheenu and Senthil are in the office. Cheenu is holding a big envelop. He tells," see Senthil all the visa papers and other documents are all here...which means all the routes are cleared for these girls to start their new career....I would call these girls and give this happy news myself...I really want to hear their happiness and excitements...In this matter I have become a hero ....Ok...now we have move fast...you do one thing Senthil...take all these Visa papers and go to Rangaajan's table. I want you both to take copies of these papers and file them and then send the original visa papers to the girls by Speedpost or even by courier. And I want you to do this ok?"

Senthiul ore munugals..." ellam neramthaan.." Cheenu tells him that after Senthil has nothing else to do so why not do this work atleast. Senthil hesitates and gets the envelop and leaves from there. Cheenu calls Pooja and tells her the news.

Viswa comes to the house with ekka chakkaaammmchakka chakkmaana shopping bags. Savithri asks him from where he got this kind of money. Viswa relies," Look after all I have bought all this with all my love and you are questioning me like this?" Kaveri also asks him for the correct answer and insists him to tell the truth. Viswa keeps beating his own drums and keeps repeating that the money belongs to the family...and he did not do any thing wrong.

Senthil is with Eashu. She laughs like veerappa and tells that the real drama is going to start.
