Tried to write a little OS on Meet for their 10th anniversary

Preet's POV
10 years, it had been 10 years since they had married. He still couldn't believe it.
WOW , 10 years. They had come such a long way in these 10 years. From been heartbroken to madly and deeply been in love. From been strangers to humsafars.
He smiled remembering each and every moment he spent had with her. It filled his heart with joy thinking about the way she had slowly made her way into his heart. He honestly could not think of a time when he was not in love with Meher.
He thought back to the first few days of when he met her, oh god they had started off on such a bad foot. They had argued so much and he had not thought much of her. He was such an idiot. He misjudged her and was harsh on her. She was the complete opposite of his type of girls, she wasn't stylish and glamarous but simple, she was way too filmy and wasnt slim like Ash. Yet now all of those things he thought were flaws were what made her beautiful. Now he loved the fact that was so simple, so down to earth. He loved that she was filmy. She was always smiling, was always chirpy and took care of everyone. She was like a ray of sunshine...his sunshine.
He remember his decision to marry her - the best decision he ever made. He remember them taking vows with broken hearts. At that moment he didn't know if he would be able to love her but he knew that he would always protect her, would be loyal and honest to her. He married her out of duty, out of care, out of friendship, yet even he doesn't know when that duty and friendship became love.
He doesn't remember the exact moment he fell in love with her. He doesnt remember when she became his life. He doesnt remember when her smile became his lifeline. Maybe it was the time when she had faith in him when even he didnt, maybe it was the time she supported him when he was alone, maybe it was time she sitched his kurta's button, maybe it was the time she smiled even in pain just to cheer him up after a bad day.
All he knowns is that he can't see tears in his eyes, he love how her eyes twinkle when she smiles. He loves the way she spreads happiness wherever she goes. He loves how after a hard day she is always there by his side. He loves it when she hugs him tight or gets shy at their closeness. He loves it when she laughs at his antics, her laugh is his favourite sound in the world. It like a melody to his ears. He loves the fact that she always supports him. She is his bestfriend, his love, his wife, the mother of his kids.
She completed him.

Meher's POV
Preet was her life. He was her world. She honestly couldn't think of a time when he wasn't in her life. It had been 10 years since they had married but it honestly seemed like forever. It seemed like there was never a time when they weren't married. Its so silly, how someone who didn't fit the requirements of your ideal guy became the perfect guy for you.
When she had first met preet, she had hated him. He would be mean to her. He was like a rich spoilt brat but even then he was kind hearted, he always treasured his family especially his brother prem. It was that quality of his that she could always relate to.
She remembers the day she married him. She was in love with his brother Harman but he had ditched her at the altar and he had stepped up to marry her. It had shocked her when he had proposed to marry her. That was the first time he she had seen him sacrifice his love for Ash in order for his family and her. She honestly wasn't sure at that moment if their marriage would work, or if they would ever be like other husbands and wives. However she did make a vow to always trust Preet. She made a vow to herself that from that day on she would be a dutiful wife.
After their marriage she had seen such a drastic change in Preet. He had transformed to a mature man from his childlike behaviour overnight. It had surprised her to see how instead of falling apart and lazing around, He had instead started working and taking care of the family. He kept quite and did everything in his power to take care of everyone's needs, he did everything to bring back his bauji's shaan and his family's happiness. There were times it hurted her to see bauji taunt him. It hurted her to see everyone not have expectations from him. It hurted her when bauji didn't have faith him. She had seen stay silent, had seen him work day and night, she had seen him fight for her, had seen him protect her. She had seen him smile even on his worst days. She didn't now when his pain became hers, when his happiness became hers, she didnt know when seeing his smile made her heartbeat speed up. He was so selfless unlike the man she had met on their first meeting.
She didn't know when they both had started building their own world, but it just happened. Out of nowhere she fell in love with him. It was all the tiny things he did that made her heart flutter. He was a perfect husband, a perfect son, a perfect brother, a perfect father.
Ever since she was little she had dreamt of a romantic filmy love story like ddlj. And now she finally had her love story and it was more epic than ddlj. She had her preet. Their story started from fights and ended in love.She didn't know what she would do without him. She couldn't think of a life without him. He was her everything, her world, her life, her happiness.
He completed her.
