Hello and a very warm welcome to all of my fellow Deshians.

December 2nd marks a very special day in the lives

of our precious jodi Meet.

Yes, you guessed it, today is Preet and Meher's

wedding anniversary.

On this day 10 years ago,

Preet Juneja and Meher Maan

decided to take their humble friendship a step further,

and commit themselves to the holy bond of matrimony.

It's been 10 years...can you believe it?

What began as a spur of the moment decision

to save the family's dignity,

turned into a life full of loyalty, laughter and love.

Come...let's celebrate that special moment together.

When Preet and Meher first met, it wasn't exactly love at first sight.

She was the poor girl who worked in his house.

He was the somewhat spoiled youngest son of the great hotelier Lalit Juneja.

In the first real conversation they had, Preet accused Meher of stealing his mother's kangan!

Ouch!

Things slowly changed. They had to, because their siblings Prem and Heer were in love,

and Preet and Meher wanted to see them happy.

Then Lalit asked Herman to propose to Meher.

He did, but confided in Meher that he was already in love with someone else.

Just pretend until she can come to India and meet my family, he begged.

Bad idea? Yes...but Meher agreed.

She wasn't in love with Herman, and what was the harm in helping out a friend?

But as the saying goes.."Ladka ladki...kabhi dost nahin ban sakte"

And so it happened that Meher fell in love with the toothpick...I mean Herman.

Why?

I'm still trying to figure that one out to this day.

Friendship isn't about who came first,

or who you've known the longest.

It's about who came and never left.

Just when she needed him most,

Preet stepped into Meher's life.

And watching their journey go from their first meeting,

to this...

then this...

this...

And this...

Was definitely worth the watch...

Happpy Anniversary to the cutest couple in the industry, Meet...

Though you weren't the lead, you managed to have fans go fidaaa over your chemistry.. and the effect still lasts after 10 years... commendable isn't it... 😃

I wish you guys team up again for something as you guys look the best with one another... itihaas gawaah hai 😆
