"Go away!" Mehek threw the precious flower vase at him. "Owh!" He dodged resulting in the glass vase break into millions of pieces. "Sweetheart I'm sorry." Shaurya tried to apologise for the twenty first time. "I don't wanna see your face. Go away!" Mehek moved swiftly from bed to couch and then to balcony breaking almost anything and everything she found in hand. It wasn't her fault. Who won't be upset with such a careless husband who went on a business trip for week and didn't even answer to a worried wife's call or messages let alone calling on his own. It takes time to make Mehek upset but if someone dares to, he should be prepared to bear the wrath of the angry bird.
"I'm sorry darling!" That was the twenty second sorry but all Mehek cared was to run from him. "Mehek stop please. You'll hurt yourself." Shaurya was worried. "Not as much as you did. Ouch!" She stepped on some glass pieces. It's never a good idea to walk wildly in the midst of broken glasses. Blood oozed out of her feet and the pain made it difficult for her to walk and thus brought her down to the nearby couch. Shaurya rushed to help her out.
"Look what you did!" He chided her while nursing her feet. "Do not touch. I'll help myself." She jerked his hand off and tried to pick out glass pieces that stuck in her wound. "Agghh." She winced in pain and more blood oozed out. "I'm sorry Sweetheart. I really am. Just forgive this time and I promise this will never happen ever again. I promise." Shaurya had tears in his eyes seeing her in so much pain. He cleaned the wound and dressed it and sat on his knees near her. Holding her hand in his, "Mehek, I know I shouldn't have kept you worried and should have spared some time to tell you about me. Look, all my life I have been answerable to no one. I have lived alone and no one cared. I'm sorry." That was one genuine apology and Mehek too no time to embrace him in the tightest of the hug she knew of and give him the warmth of love that he requires. Dil ki baatein dil tak pahunch hi jaati hain!
