I think this sentence can be taken in 2 ways.

Vikas did take it in the erectile dysfunctional way as he was hurt and he also said that he can't believe he said such a bad statement.

I saw Sree's reaction to it also and he was Surprised that Vikas felt so bad for such a simple statement. He repeated his statement and asked what was there to take offence.

So I guess he meant - Vikas was surrounded with ladies and so he wanted Vikas to stand up like a man and fight him rather than shielding himself through ladies.
