I was just watching the promos for Karn Sangini (which are breathtakingly stunning, to be honest) and thinking finally, the Shashi Sumeet PH is doing their first mytho show. It's about time they did one of those shows at such a grand scale.

I have always hoped to see Rohit as the lead in one of their shows - the characters tend to be extremely well written, whether they are leads or supporting roles. Maybe one day this wish of mine will come true. Since Rohit hasn't done a mytho serial yet and loves working on big sets, perhaps he can work with this PH on a mytho show in future or maybe even a contemporary one. It would be a deadly combination. Just the amount of effort they have put in to the Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai show for historical accuracy is unbelievable, nothing short of a (recent) period piece in terms of attention to detail.

I would love for Rohit to get that space to really display his range fully once he gets an author-backed role. He would be unstoppable. 😃

I've had this feeling of impending doom for the last few weeks, I guess it's because I know already that Alexander will die a painful death while still so young. I just hope they show him as glorious and magnificent until his last breath, while perhaps longing for his mother and reflecting upon his life and choices.

I've wanted this series to wrap up for a while now because it was going nowhere, but yesterday's episode gave me a glimpse of the old Alexander as we knew and fell in love with, and made me feel sad for the lost potential of this show. Such meaningful scenes and faceoffs would have taken the show to another level altogether.

Anyway, there aren't many episodes left and although I will free up myself after Porus is over, I will definitely experience withdrawal symptoms from not seeing Rohit on my screen as Alexander.

I think he's going to get married soon after the show ends, but I hope after a good rest he comes back to our screens without too long a break.
