Hi everyone, so I have never been active on this forum but just wanted to share my thoughts about the show.
Please do keep in mind I am not bashing the actors, I have loved the actors in their previous dramas. I am solely focusing on their characters in this drama and the storyline. So please do keep that in mind.
Tagline: Well to start of, I have never really liked the line "Jazzbatt sahi ya galat nahi hota, jazzbat jazbaat hote hai. I personally disagree with that line, because there are certain people that you should not be romantically involved with, there is a thin line between right and wrong.
Nandini/ Kunal: OK I completely understand Nandini was a domestic abuse victim. And she has gone through so much with her marriage with Rajdeep. After coming out from all that abuse she deserves happiness, there is no doubt about that. However her been a abuse victim doesnt in any way justify her having an affair. The way they showed KuNan falling in love was a bit unrelatable in my opinion. But even if we forget the whole story of how they fell in love, there is still the fact that she or kunal feel no guilt about betraying Mauli. I feel that to be the most unrelatable aspect. I honestly cant digest that one minute they are crying saying "we didn't mean to hurt you mauli. We just fell in love and the next minute they are all romantic like lovesick teenagers. I feel the cvs should have maybe shown them both feeling some sort of remorse, even when they were having the affair and mauli didn't know. Yet all these two care about is having romantic dates together and expecting everyone to be cool with that because "jazbbat sahi ya galat nahi hote. I am sorry but when someone like mauli has literally helped give you a second life in a way you do not hurt them like that. And even if you fall in "love then you still have guilt because you know that what you are doing is wrong. However I see none of that in either Kunal or Nandini. Both these people claim to love mauli yet don't even give a damn about hurting and disrespecting her again and again. Personally after revelation drama I feel Nandini may have been a bit more realistic if she tried to distance herself away form Kunal on her own. Also I never understood the whole birthday thing, I mean are you that stupid that you think you have any right to celebrate the birthday of the woman whose life you have ruined. How idiotic. Also Nandini always seemed to cry at been away from Kunal not at the prospect of hurting mauli, I feel. She really didn't even once try to understand mauli's pain. And as for Kunal is he just a sicko, even after putting mauli through so much he actually had the guts to question her about her integrity, her honesty. He is one screwed up male lead. I literally felt like slapping him when he dared to question Mauli's intentions and then actually claimed that he knew the pain Mauli was going through. Its like hell no dude, you do not get to play the victim card. You have no idea what she is going through. She had her world completely ruined. You do not have any right to even compare her pain with your "so called pain". Like if you understood her pain then you would firstly not be flaunting your "love in her face and secondly you wouldn't be all happy and lovely dovey 24/7. And I know that there are people like Kunal and Nandini who f-up people's life and not give a damn, and think they are right but still Tv is a powerful median to give a message and I feel cvs have missed that with the current storyline, they just seem to be trying to whitewash KuNan, and are in a way seeming to glorify EMA, especially with the whole romantic bg, that just makes it seem like KuNan's love is pure. And talking about acting, I am not really enjoying dhrasti's acting with this show and I think that mostly because the director's are giving her shitty dialogues, and just making her cry 24/7 for no reason, but I must say I am loving her clothes in this show.
Rajdeep: Abhinav is a brilliant actor, no doubt baout that. His dialogues and the way he acts seem so real. He is a treat to watch. But no matter how much I hate Nandini's character I owuld not want to see her going back to him. No one deserves to eb abused like that. I would much rather see Nandini and kunal living a miserable life togetehr.
Mauli: I love this girl, I really do. She is the only reason why I am watching this show. I loved when the revelation happened, she stayed strong and didn't let Kunal or Nandini play the victim card. Kudos to her for that. She tried so hard to stay strong and move on however after the pregnancy news she did try to get Kunal back. Which in a way I can find relatable in the sense that she revolved her whole world around kunal. She loved him for 7 years. Which is a long time. So initially there will be time where she will think about giving her marriage another chance especially with a baby on a way. She loved him for 7 years, so it will take some time for her to unlove him. I would love to see her journey, I want her to move out of Kunal's house with dida and radhika and bring up her baby (if the cvs don't plan miscarriage). I want her to go back to the hospital and start her journey of healing her scars. I do want another man to come in her life, but after a nice good while, you know after she has started healing herself. I really hope the Cvs start showing her journey. Enough of running behind Kunal, he doesn't deserve her.
In the future I would like to see KuNan getting married and been miserable. I do want to see them living miserably after all their wrongdoings. I do want to see them regretting their decisions. And I would love to see Mauli raising her kid and maybe becoming friends with a new male lead.
I don't mean to hurt anyone's opinions. I am just posting my vie son the show. I think it was gutsy to do a show on EMA, and it was a good idea especially since it something very evident in today's society. However I do feel the cvs have ruined the storyline in order to glorify EMA and I feel that may be mostly due to hvaing popular faces playing the roles of Kunal and Nandini.
