MUMBAI: Being an actor is no cake walk. It takes a lot for the actors to get into a role and go through all the emotions that the character needs to go through. In the process of doing justice to the roles, actors often walk the extra mile to make their characters look more realistic and convincing. Some even get physically hurt.

Actors like Shashank Vyas and Karan Jotwani have hurt themselves while shooting intense scenes.

Recently, Eisha Singh, who plays Zara in Zee TV's popular show Ishq Subhan Allah, was injured on the sets. A source said, 'Eisha was supposed to push a door in the scene, and by mistake, she pushed the glass, which led to this accident. She got 6 to7 cuts and her hand started to bleed. Her lips too got injured.'

Supposedly, this was the last scene of the schedule and the unit packed up soon after the incident. The source added, 'Production took good care of Eisha.'
