^ Is is really that shocking? I want to be an oncologist because if there's something I'm really motivated about, it's to do what I can in the fight against cancer. Cancer has affected my family...and there was a time when I was told that I might have a tumor (fortunately it was a benign cyst). Even now I'm working in a lab that's conducting brain cancer research. Somehow all that has led me to the field.
What specialty are you planning to go into?

Aww I'm sorry I didn't know that. Well, what I meant was that you have to constantly deliver palliative care and bad news to your patients. Me, I'm not strong enough to be strong to deliver only bad news, since survival in most types of cancer is pretty low. And i also shadowed a doctor who was telling a patient that their cancer had metastasized....It really isn't pretty. So, just wondering...
Well, IF i ever get into medical school, I would like to be an endocrinologist.. true, my odds of delivering happy news are almost the same as yours, but still...i find hormones fascinating =)!
No problem dear...I know I'll have to deliver bad news and it'll be difficult, but I'm still sure that this is what I want to do. I think saving one life will give me enough happiness that I'll be able to deal with the pain of those I wasn't able to save. At least, that's what I hope.
Good luck getting into med school. Endocrinology is an interesting field and if you find hormones fascinating, I'm sure it's perfect for you. Wish you all the best...how does the application system work in France? In the US we have to do our Bachelor's first and then apply for the medical degree...that's why I'm 22 and just about to start. Anyway, our application process is also super long with primary apps, secondary apps, and interviews. Kinda crazy. I'm so glad it's almost over and I have a decent backup school that I've already been admitted to. Just waiting for a few more. Where are you in the application process?
Kewl topic😛...I want to be a 😊crime lawyer😊 and fight for the rights😳
