Late night...

Geet was feeling cold but she didn't want to go back to his arms, after all happened in the day...So, she just tugged at the blanket and tried to cover herself...but, Maan did notice that and tugged back...And the fight for the blanket started...The fight ended with Geet landing on Maan, accidentally kissing him on his lips, result of Maan's forceful tug at the blanket...and everything blurred for few moments for both of them...

Geet looked away and got off from Maan as he let her and she turned her back at him...He too realized the situation when her cold body and lips met his...and offered half of his blanket...

Maan:- You could have told me you really wanted blanket I thought you are trying to irritate me with your antics... (He glanced at her side, when he found no response and saw her looking at the ceiling...He too faced that and asked again) Will you tell me something???

Geet(after a brief silence):- Ask???

Maan:- Did you really think that your parents will again force you to marry their choice of man and just coz of that you didn't go with them??? And you are forced to live with me in this Mansion...

Geet:- Why does that Q even bother you ??? (She asked back glancing at him)

Maan sighed at her retort and knew he wasn't going to get an answer of his Q... while she still gazed at him...and that Q was replaced with her words...

Geet:- I hate you for what you did today... and I will avenge you for that too...Your Dadimaa is so sweet lady I wonder how she got you two as your grandchildren... who are full of themselves...No remorse, no guilt for what they have done to an innocent girl...You both aren't even ashamed on your deeds... (Seeing him silent she was more enraged)How you can even defend your act as your love for your sister... What abt the girl whose life you have destroyed for your sister's happiness??? And do you seriously think she is happy with that scumbag ...

Maan:- Mind your language ...(She got a bit scared at his raised voice but recovered soon)I may or not be guilty for what I did with you but am happy for its result...Annie and Arjun are happily married today...You don't know anything...

Geet:- Huhh!!! Seriously, you think he is good for your sister???

Maan(smiled):- Stop trying to instigate me, coz that is not going to work...

Geet:- Mr. Maan Singh Khurrana, I have heard you are a sharp businessman ...But, you are the biggest fool I have ever met...(He only smiled at her shaking his head)Fine give me deaf ears but one day, he is going to prove me right and you...wrong... A person who couldn't even stand in front of his family for a girl whom he loves, today or tomorrow he is going to leave her...(She mocked at him and then gave her back to him while Maan just stared her back for a few moments before he too turned his back to her and both slept)

Geet opened her eyes and as usual found herself in his arms...But, today he was watching her silently instead of waking her up...Something was not right with him today, she knew that and so she tried to withdraw herself but instantly found his arms round her...To which Geet looked up in his eyes...

Geet:- Let go of me...(She asked in rude voice but found no response...sighing in irritation she tried getting his hands off her but his grip was firm) What do you want??? Leave me... I need to go and have a check on Dadimaa...

Maan(smiled):- Isn't it strange, she is my Dadi and you are worrying more than me???

Geet:- Coz of your deeds, she doesn't want any of you near her that's why am gonna go and have a check on her... Leave me...

Maan:- She is my Dadi and I very well know how to deal with our issues... Don't think, because she is mad at us all, you got an upper hand on us... No...Today or tomorrow she will forgive us all...And you are again gonna be left all alone...Why don't you go back...

Geet(was succeeded in getting his hands off her, smiled):- Neither today nor tomorrow...Am not going anywhere... I will make sure, you suffer in this marriage with me...

With that she got up and rushed to rest room before Maan could have come back at her...He shook his head as he was annoyed at her stubbornness of Revenge...

Geet was sitting with Dadima in her room helping her with her BF when Maan came inside and greeted the elderly lady...She looked away and Maan sighed, he eyed Geet...

Maan:- I want to talk to Dadima... Plz leave us alone...(Geet glanced at Dadima and was standing up when she pulled Geet down)

Dadima:- I don't want to talk to him...

Maan(came and sat on bed):- Dadimaa plz you will have to listen to my side too...You can't conclude everything with just hearing one sided story...

Dadimaa(stared his eyes which has guilt written on them and a mother's heart melted):- Okhh... But Geet stays... As you too were here when she was telling her side...

Maan:- Yeah, she was...But, she is going to interrupt me in between and you know I don't like that...(Geet pouted in anger and looked away...Dadimaa noticed that)

Dadimaa(commented in amusement):- You know her too well???

Maan:- Dadimaa plz...I request you...

He sighed and requested to which Dadimaa nodded and Geet with a nod stood to go out... As both were left alone, Dadimaa glared her grandson...

Dadima:- You have disappointed me Maan..Out of everyone near me, this was never ever expected coming from you...Surely, my upbringing wasn't good enough...

Maan(took her hand in his):- Dadimaa plz...Don't blame yourself...You have all the rights to remain angry at me...But, can you just for once, think and see things from my perspective???(He sighed and started)Dadima I have seen AA's love every day...Be that from school, to college and to uni...Everywhere they always were together, lost in each other...He was my Best friend and when he told me in college that he liked Annie, I was more than happy...Coz I wouldn't have found a best match for her even if I wanted...I wanted my sister's safety, security and the best man for her...who could love her, pamper her and take care of her just the way I did...And that man was Arjun...I knew him inside out...But, that just was our friendship... Arjun was waiting for his studies to get over so that he could talk to his Dad...But before he could have finished his studies, his alliance was fixed...For months he tried going against it, and I saw everything...Annie's heart break...Arjun's miseries...and they were falling apart...Annie was completely shattered when she heard his marriage date was fixed... (Dadimaa placed her hand on his shoulder and he looked away to clear his misty eyes and contd) That was when Arjun came up with this idea of talking with his future bride-Geet...(He paused and looked back at a teary Dadi) Trust me Dadimaa, I tried to convince her to back out from that marriage but she refused and I was left with no option except getting her off the venue...I know now that was wrong...But, whatever I did was for Annie...I love her so much Dadi...I would have given my life for her love...for her happiness...

Dadimaa was crying listening to her grandson, as she nodded her head..Knowing what Annie has always meant for her Maan...She grew in Maan's hands more than hers... She was his responsibility from her birth...He took care of her every need but never spoiled her ...He was her father and her mother in every sense and going to extreme was nothing new for Dadimaa yet her heart went for the girl whose life was all a mess coz of her grandchildren...Maybe if she knew anything back then, she would surely have convinced Arjun's parents for their alliance...But...!!!!!!!!! Seeing her composed Maan again contd...

Maan:- I called her father here in your absence to sort this matter out without letting you know of anything ...Coz I did fear for your health DadiI didn't want anything happening to you...in any way so, I arranged everything...But she still is adamant...She just is blind in her revenge game...(Dadimaa noticed his voice catching anger at the thought of Geet)

Dadimaa(came for Geet's aid):- She is not wrong... Whatever you have snatched from her, she is bound to react like that Beta...But, she is a nice girl by heart... And I want you to think over starting a new life with her...She is going to be a good wife, I guarantee you...

Maan only smiled and shook his head, without answering her...And the lady knew she is going to have tough time convincing both husband and wife for starting new life with each other...leaving their past behind...
