@hend Rafai let's not mix religion into entertainment please. Religion has and will never be an issue in Bepannaah. I know Muslim girls are not supposed to marry non- Muslims but these things do happen in real life. And neither the show is the first entertainment programme to showcase interfaith marriage.

The only thing I will say is let's keep Religion away from Entertainment. This is an Indian show and India is a country where people belonging to many religions live so for people belonging to other countries, all that is shown in Bepannaah may be anti-islamic or whatever they will call but for Indians, this is unity in diversity.
So let's just keep in mind this is an Indian serial meant for entertainment and all the characters are fictional so let's watch it only for entertainment and then forget it.

Guys this is my final request to you all to please stop the religious debate. I created a post in hopes of discussing Zoya's new attire and it has become a religious battleground please stop.

Bold: There. You said it. Narrow bigotry has no place in this country.

Ishana it's better ask mod to close the topic. I don't know about others but for us Bengali Hindus Durga puja is the biggest festival and I see the Muslims also take big part in the shopping and also does a lot of pandel hopping. So I don't think everyone is narrow minded. But here discussion should be limited to BP only. Don't know why it became religious battleground

Interesting discussion here :) My two cents about religion is that it is man-made. And had it not been for early people to make rules and gain followers the world would perhaps not be as segregated as it is ..

Cave men and early human-like beings didn't follow any particular religion. I think humanity is should be the law of the land and one should live to be good to one and all regardless of their race/color/gender/orientation etc ..

Also we are NOT born as a hindu/muslim/Christian/jew/sikh or whatever ..we are only born into families that practice a particular faith. If at some point we choose to believe in something else, it should be completely our choice. I don't think society should have a say in what we do or not do and IMO to hell with such a society.

I am born to Hindu parents but I celebrate all festivals that my community celebrates ..Thanksgiving, Christmas are probably more looked forward too than Diwali at our home - but that's just because of our environment ..Likewise I have cousins that live in the middle east who celebrated id and even fast during ramadaan ..but they by birth are Hindu :) ..so I guess one can't really hold someone up for believing or doing things they want to ..so what if it doesn't abide by the rules ..after all the rules were made by some other person ..as long as one isn't doing anything to harm another ..I guess all's good! ..these days humanity is the need of the hour
