Even I would have been fine if she didnt wear the bindi. But would like to see why she decided to wear it.
I have many friends who have inter religious marriage. If the girl is hindu, the guy is christian/muslim conversion happens for church or nikaah wedding. And the girl follows those customs though in some cases they allow her to keep her religious identity of praying in temple, keep sindoor etc. But society criticizes them. I have heard personal stories.
So if a girl from other faith marries to a hindu home, though there is no conversion from society perspective she will be expected to follow certain customs. Though we say guy also should follow the girl's way, the way society is structured it doesnt happen that way. Its the couple who finally manage on how to take forward their inter religious beliefs.

My parents had a love marriage which was not even in inter caste, it was two sub castes. Still the struggle my mom took I have seen it and me and my brother were more or less brought up with the rituals and customs from my father's side, though individually we both have tried to take something from my mom's side also.

Given its her first day post marriage, I loved her look. Isn't that how Indian brides look on their first day in sasural? (I mean Indian, not Hindu or Muslim). Suhagan types...ekdum biwi jaisi?😆
I have no idea about Islam at all n neither m I very clear about Hinduism. So I wouldn't comment on that. But eod, it's everyone's individual wish how they want to dress. Zoya used to wear mangalsutra in her first marriage as well. N in today's world, girls don't put bindi as religious or suhaag ki nishani etc, it's more about fashion statement now, if I m not wrong. N even if she has put it because she married to a Hindu guy, what's wrong in that? Even Adi will observe Muslim rituals whenever required. We have already seen him wearing pyjamas n saying Assalam walequm n all when they were not even married. Isnt that how a couple behave... inculcating eachother's habits n rituals? Putting bindi doesn't negate her Muslim identity at all. Her religion has taught her some human values n she'll definitely not forget them n that keeps her Muslim identity intact. Also, most probably, Adi has not asked her to dress like that, she has dressed like a Hindu bahu by herself, so there's again nothing wrong in that. But yeah, I'll definitely question the cvs if they never show her Muslim look ever in the future. I would like her to dress like both Hindu n Muslim cultures.
N I definitely didn't find her saree tacky. Those brocade blouses n silk sarees r traditional wears n every newly married bride wears them on the first day. She looked super gorgeous in those vibrant colours. Those clothes were needed to show her transformation from a widow to a married woman. No matter how modern clothes we wear but such clothes do give suhagan vibes which no other can. I m sure she isn't gonna wear same type of sarees forever, we already have a sexy designer saree as seen in the off screen pictures from the sets.

Why has she put on bindi? Why is she letting go of her religious identity? I loved the fact that the show normalised inter-religious marriages but now it seems like she doesn't even pray! How awesome would it be if we got Zoe praying in the mornings and Adi observing her lovingly?

Also why exactly did she say she's so much work in the kitchen?!!! And where exactly is she asking Adi to leave, ain't he jobless? 🥱 Has she even broached that subject of him resuming his piloting duties?

LOL quite a rant sorry😆

In the new promo no bindi.

If a girl wants to dress up to please her hubby, she can. But it has to be her choice no one should force her. If Zoya has done this on her own I have no problem. .Keeping everything aside I just loved jenny 'S look.. She looks super cute ..she looks like a doll..

she never thought of her God or her religion or regret marrying a non Muslim man
She cares for her father more than her God

She doesn't represent the Muslim woman in any aspect

So let her wear what she wants
it doesn't matter anymore

Bold and emphasis mine. Why should anyone regret marrying someone outside their religion?

I am a big supporter of inter-religious marriages, but I would prefer if AdiYa got married in a religious neutral way. Neither a nikaah, nor a saat-pherewali shaadi. Just a simple court marriage and of course their verbal exchange of vows would have been the right way to officially seal their relationship.
But, aise kiya to TRPs kahaan se aate? Band, baaja, baaraat, star sudded dances to hona hi tha.

I don't see anything wrong with her look. Saree and bindi has nothing to do with religion it's culture or a fashion statement

Although I like the look, they could have avoided the bindi - not due to religious reasons, but just because that was a Zoya thing. Wearing one occasionally is fine.
I hope we see her in her old avatar as well sometimes. The look shouldn't always be one tone.

Speaking strictly from the law's pov here. I would like a Nikkah as well but it isn't possible here with a Qaazi and all as a Nikkah is possible only between two Muslims (according to the personal law). So either Adi has to convert or they can perform something close to it for Zoya's sake. But, a proper Nikkah isn't possible. Also, I do hope they get an official court marriage done.
