Episode 188 Friday 29/2/08

Recap of Sara seeing Kannu on the road. Sara goes to her
and starts talking. Kannu cold shoulders him. Poor Sara
asks her about how she has not noticed his formal shirt and
his bag. Goes on to tell her that he has a job now. Kannu
shows no interest "apdiyaa? sari" Sara wonders about her
not congratulating him. Finally Kannu says that she is in no
mood for small talk and can not engage in any conversation.
Sara feels very bad about this -" unnai love panname irunthu
iruntha, at least normal aa pesi yirukkalam. Ippo accidental aa
meet pannina pesarathu kooda thappachu illiya?" Kannu does
not want old fires kindled. Sara goes on to talk about Bhoo's
second marriage and how no one makes any effort to stop that.
Kannu says that only God can stop that ( ayyo da, apdi vera
oru ennama unakku??? Innum antha moron kooda vazhanumaa
nee??? athai solrathu right than, ungalukkellam buthi ye
varathu) Kannu says that only athai has the guts to confront
Danda's family and she is keeping quiet as well. Kannu leaves
and Sara looks very sad. Devraj and his PA are in Bangalore
police station asking about the missing 50 lakhs. Inspector
says that a lot of investigation was done and they just have
a name of a girl who admitted Ranga in the hospital. He says
that the name is Anitha and whether they know any one by
that name. Devraj has no idea and later inspector says that
there was another girl by the name Megala also. Devraj is
surprised and when the inspector asks about it, he says that
Megs worked as PA for Ranga for some time and now is in
Madras. Inspector promises to find her. Devraj's PA asks
as to why Deva called Megs a PA - Devraj is smart - " if
I tell him that she was Ranga's adopted daughter, he might
not make efforts to find the money" PA marvels at Deva's
intelligence.

Sara comes back home and the house owner irritates him a bit.
Goes in and shouts at mom for that but mom has some thing
more sinister - " Angu akka called and said that they are going
to see the girl today" - Sara is furious and starts shouting ' Epdi
ithellam seyyalaam?? Kannu life enna aagum?? we have to
some how stop it" Mom shouts back saying that they are
nobody to interfere in all that and goes in. Sara thinks hard - he
recalls an incident where Danda decided to go and buy some
land. Pechi sneezed twice as Danda got up to get in to the car
and Danda abandoned Project land acquiring as it was a bad
omen. Sara smartly uses a pay phone and calls Income Tax
Vigilance dept and gives Danda's address. Tells them that
Danda has a lot of black money and is planning to move it
all out today. When asked about his identity, he says that
he is one of the victims of Danda. He is hopeful that Danda
will deem this as a bad omen and stop the girl seeing ceremony.

Danda's house - Danda is pushing every one to get ready.
Angu is unwilling and does not answer hubby. Chandru and
Padmini are ready. Bhoo comes with a black pant and Danda
is unhappy. But Bhoo thinks that he is smart in black and
refuses to change. Tams is busy making her face up - she is
sitting in front of the mirror and practicing smiles and looks -
Padmini comes in and as usual a mini yuddham ensues.
Tams:" Na make up panni azhaga irukken nnu unakku
poramai athaan, u label my body spray as a bad smell".
Padmini can not contain her laughter -" jealousy??? un
mele??? ayyo ayyo, athukkellam oru thaguthi vendamaa?"
Chandru comes in to make peace but Tams chides him as
well -" wife ai support panna vanthittiya?" Finally all
assemble and Pechi is sent out to look for a good omen.
Pechi goes out grumbling "panrathe thappu kaariyam, ithile
sagunam vera hmm" - sees a sumangali coming and reports
to Danda. All get in to the car and leave. After they leave,
Vigilance people come in 2 cars from the other side... see
the gate locked... and stand with hands in hips!!!
