Omkara stood up startled. "Anika?"
She stared at him. He was the only option left to her. She had no clue what was wrong with his elder brother. But there was definitely something very wrong. She now knew that Shivaay wasn't going to be easy to escape. There was only one option. An Oberoi to understand an Oberoi. Omkara was nothing like his brother. That was something she had understood too soon. Or perhaps it was Shivaay she never understood.
"You said I could tell you if something was wrong." She said slowly. Her expression blank.
Omkara blinked. He had little hope that things would be fine today morning. Nevertheless they weren't. "Of course, Please Sit." He said like the perfect gentleman. His thoughts racing back to Shivaay's whereabouts. He hadn't returned home after last night.
Anika settled on the sofa. Remembering the events from last night for the nth time.
"What did he do?" Was the clipped question.
Anika caught that - quite unexpected. He knew it was Shivaay who had done something? Was that the amount of trust he had on his brother? Or was it that he knew his brother too well? Anika reconsidered her decision of taking his help. But only he could help.
"Omkara..I--"
"Hey Anika! Hi!" Mallika said biting into her apple as soon as she spotted the taller woman in the living room.
The moment the words left her mouth she realised something serious in air. She crossed her fingers. Hoping her doubt did not come true.
She walked over to the two of them. "All okay guys?"
Omkara's pissed look gave her the answer.
Anika smiled slightly and her lips grew straight again. She sat beside Omkara.
"I don't know what's wrong with him." Anika started. This was harder than she had perceived it would be.
"Elaborate." Mallika said at once, engrossed in the matter.
Anika looked hesitantly. It had barely been a day, she knew this woman for.
"You can trust her Anika." Omkara said quickly sensing her hesitance. "We know something is not right. But you know what's wrong. Tell us."
"I don't know how to explain. I can't -- just --" she couldn't just put it in words.
"Anika go slow. Begin with small instances. " Mallika replied in a clam tone.
"I..last night. He didn't let me go. I don't now why. He.. I.." Anika was regretting this.
"Omkara if you don't mind can we- as in me and Anika talk in private."
Omkara looked at her flabbergasted.
"Please." She stressed and gave him a look.
"Su-sure.." He said unsurely glancing at a slightly baffled Anika.
"I will take her to the room. " Mallika added. "Anika this way.."
Anika slowly got up and started walking clueless about want was happening but it was better than what had been happening. She was always the one to settle for something than fight the battle for something she had planned of or what she thought she deserved. Time had made her like that. If only she hadn't settled for her nagging affectionately advances.
"Om, I think this is much serious than I thought. I am scared my stray doubts are turning true . " Mallika said quickly before turning to leave.
Omkara stared at her. His gut knew things were wrong. How much wrong? That was a question left to time to answer.
Mallika followed Anika to the room. She had only the slightest doubt that Shivaay's feelings for Anika weren't what they looked like. But she had brushed away the thoughts thinking Shivaay did not know how to express what he felt. She dreaded now. Was she wrong!? Were her miniature doubts right? Had she been more of a emotional involved friend in this situation than a psychiatrist? She had.
She shut the door and sat beside Anika on the couch. She suspected a few disorders. Which one? That only Anika could pick it out for her.
"Anika. First. Relax. You can treat me more like a friend, but I am going to be in the role of a psychiatric. Don't panic. I m just going to ask a few questions. All you need to do is answer them, honestly. "
Anika looked at her with uncertainty etched on her face. Psychiatric? Questions? Was something wrong with herself?
"Mallika..."
"Anika." Mallika took a deep sigh. "Shivaay came to me a few days back. He told me there was this woman he lost his control around. He did things he didn't mean to. He-- he did things that he wouldn't do in his sane mind. " She observed Anika closely. She could tell that Anika knew everything she had said to be true.
"It's you Anika."
Anika gulped, clutching on tightly to her duppatta. This entire situation did not go well with her.
"At first I thought he loves you!"
Anika gazed up, her eyes slightly wide. Love. He loves her. That sounded, so-so beautiful. So much like a dream. So much like - like a fairy tale.
"But I guess, I was too easy on the situation, because I knew him personally."
That sentence was like the loud sound of shattering glass. Anika stared at her wide eyed. That was the reality. He did not love her. Never. It was her stupidity to think there was a chance.
"What do you mean?" Anika asked now scared for him more than herself.
"I suspect Shivaay to have a little problem. Only you can tell what?"
"I don't understand!" Anika said evidently anxious.
"Anika, its like saying I know how to open the lock and you have the key. You don't know how to open the lock. "
"And..that lock is - Shivaay!" Anika completed.
The other woman nodded. "I will be asking a few questions just answer them honestly to help me figure out what is wrong with Shivaay."
Anika nodded slowly.
"Is he impulsive around you?"
"Maybe. By the looks of it. "
"Has he ever -ever told you anything that doesn't fit? Like, he owns you or.."
"No. "
"Did he try getting into any type of relationship with you? Like told you he loves you or proposal to be his friend or girlfriend or-wife?"
"Never."
"Has he ever been protective for you?"
Anika remained silent and slowly nodded in a yes.
"Does he interfere in your personal matters or..takes decisions for you?"
Anika stared blankly and nodded in affirmation.
Mallika sighed. This was going deep. "Has he ever hurt you, physically?"
Anika blinked at her taken aback.
Malkika gently placed her palm on Anika's hand. "Relax, I'm just asking. Has been violent in any way?"
Anika nodded in a quick no.
"Has he..have you both shared any sort of intimacy?"
Anika stiffened at that question. Mallika already had her answer.
"Anika- tell me. It's necessary."
Anika looked away. She couldn't gather the courage to tell anyone about it. It was too personal to be shared. Too intimate to be spoken off. Yet, too wrong to be quiet about. A lone tear escaped her eyes. Traitors! They were never loyal to her.
She quickly wiped it away hoping Mallika hadn't seen it. Her hope was false.
"Anika. " Mallika gently moved close comforting her. "It's okay. Say it. I promise it is between us. Shivaay needs help."
That did it.
No matter how hard she tried she couldn't get the words out.
"Alright just answer a yes or no. Okay?"
Anika nodded.
"Have you guys hugged?"
Anika nodded. Her thoughts running to that night.
"Was it emotional or just-"
Anika nodded before she could complete.
Awkwardly, Mallika went on, "Kissed?"
Anika looked down gently moving her head.
"Has he ever forced it?"
Anika dreaded this. She nodded in affirmation. She could hear the other woman gasp.
"Has he been jealous or unapproving of your company with another man?"
"Nikhil. He literally destroyed him. "
How could Mallika not know this. She was sure Omkara had already rectified his brother's mistake. "He will be fine. Omkara will take care." She informed Anika to not let her feel guilty for being the reason.
"Has he ever expressed a need to have you around or did something so that he was around?"
"He wanted me to continue to stay at the out house."
"Why happened last night, Anika?" She asked softly knowing this tone she was more likely to get an answer.
"He came to know. I- I don't know how. He did not le me go..nor did he tell me why! He just--" Anika broke into soft sobs.
Mallika quickly wrapped her arms around her. "Anika it's okay. I m with you alright."
"He--I--dont understand. " she hugged her back. She had wanted to release this weight off her. Though an almost stranger but Mallika understood. Understood the unexplainable .
"Anika..relax. I promise he won't harm."
"I know he won't. " Anika said almost immediately. "But this..."
"He is obsessed with you. It's very close to an Obsessive Love Disorder. But not exactly it. Delusion jealously, over protectiveness. They are a clear hint. But I don't understand why doesn't he claim you to be his - lover or anything on that line "
"Mallika I m done. Please, I can't take more of it. I can't face him anymore. I can't. I m scared." Anika pleaded helplessly tears running down her cheeks. She was scared she was in live with a man who was only obsessed. She was scared for her own good. She was scared to be broken seeing him in a state such as this. She was scared, she had given her heart to a man who had no clue how to keep it. She had fallen for him while he was behaving under the affect of a disorder. She felt sick at herself for settling for those emotions that were nothing but his vulnerability. She was frantic, anxious and tired. She couldn't fight and he was an entire battle ground.
"Anika, Anika. Listen." Mallika said a little sharply as Anika expressed her vulnerability. "You are stronger than you think. Nothing bad is happening okay. Things will be fine I promise."
"But--"
The opening of the door made Anika pull away and wipe her tears. She did not know what to understand of this madness.
"I thought- we could talk over breakfast- so I --" OMkara said perceiving his wrong timing.
"Yeah. We can." Mallika tried smiling. This was hard for her to digest as well. The man she was once willing to be crazy for was now mad for this woman who sya before him. But no matter how much she had tried to say things will be fine, she knew this was just the prelude to what lay ahead. But before jumping to conclusions she had to know more about Shivaay. More than she already knew. She knew he had had a tough childhood without his parents but there was more. Only Omkara could give her an insight.
As the servant laid the plates on the table. Anika sat in silence pondering over the conversation. Every moment spent with him became more clearer to her. Mallika chose silence lost in her own thoughts and theories. While Omkara simply sat waiting for breakfast to he over to know what was hiding behind the silence of the two women.
One thing Anika knew was she was in mid of perplexing predicament, where she had no clue as to how to act. How to flee or how to fight. Worse, what was going on with him at the moment? How would he react if he knew? More importantly how long would this last?
Could she get through this perplexity?
Could she ESCAPE this predicament altogether?
Was it too late?
--------------------------------
Woosh! Milestone reached. His obsession is out in the open.
What do you think, what could be in store ahead?
Nice to get back at this!

I am not a psychiatric or anything in the field of medicine. I have put my best efforts to get my facts right.
Of course sprinkled a little with my imagination.

After breakfast, Mallika had suggested Anika to take some rest. Even though Anika did not like the idea she gave in to Mallika's persuasion. She could certainly take some rest after last night.
In the meanwhile, Mallika sat with Omkara in the next room to talk about Shivaay.
"What's wrong?" Asked Omkara.
"Obsession." She said carefully.
"What!" Omkara looked on shocked.
Mallika carefully explained, how Anika's revelations led her to the conclusion. She kept out details.
"Did he hurt her?" Asked Omkara with his heart in mouth.
"Not physically. Not any she told me about."
"Why didn't I see this coming!" Omkara buried his face in his palms. "Shivaay literally keeps a tab on her activities."
"I know.." Malika said softly sensing his concern.
"What's the way out?" He looked up concerned.
Mallika fell silent.
"Say something."
"I need answers about his past, first. " she looked to find Omkara's expression changing drastically.
"Look Om, I know - he has had a very difficult childhood. And I guess it's because of it he is where he is today. I know his life was hard because of his parents' absence. But I need to know more details. "
"Its personal. Very personal. It's just in the family." Omkara said looking away.
"Consider me an exception. You need to tell me Om. We need to find what is creating this madness in Shivaay's life." She gently placed her hand on his.
Omkara did not know what to do. He started off in a feeble voice. "He has never been loved like we all were. I know dad hates him for being his father's son. Mom wasn't of a different disposition either. It's messed up Mallika. His life was and is! "
"I wish I could help." Mallika's voice trailed.
"At least Priyanka got love because she was just a toddler when their parents passed away. My parents accepted her like their own. But Shivaay remained an exception. But Daadi loves him. He reminds her of Daada Ji. His eyes. She always was there for him. But "
"Why does life have to be so hard to some people!" Mallika said in a broken voice.
"You still love him?" Omkara shot the question, be couldn't resist any longer.
"I do - as a friend. " she smiled sadly.
The knock on the door made the two look up. It was Anika.
"Hey come!" Mallika said standing up.
"I can't stay longer."
Mallika's expression grew serious listening to that. The more Anika would try to be away, the more Shivaay would go behind her. More the madness. She had to make her understand that.
"Anika, we-"
Anika looked at Omkara. "Can I ask for a small favor?"
"Anything. " omkara said quickly feeling bad for this woman before him.
"Never let Shivaay see me again. Please. "
Omkara's eyes grew wide. He gulped hard. It hurt him that this woman was rejecting his brother. But that is what was right. Wasn't it? Somewhere in his heart he had seen Anika as the one for Shivaay. Maybe he was being too stupid. If Priyanka was in a situation similar to Anika's with a man obsessed with her- what would he do? Never let the man trouble her again.
He nodded. "I will arrange for your tickets. And I apologize for whatever.."
"It's not required. I just don't want tobseebhime her again." It broke her to say it. But she had decided to put an end to this madness. She was scared she couldn't survive the storm that he was.
"Anika,Om..." Mallika tried to speak between them. Omkara glanced at her and nodded in a no.
"I will have the driver drop you. You already have my number. Just let me know. I will take care of Shivaay."
"Thank you." Anika whispered preparing to walk away. Glancing at Mallika gratefully she whispered another 'thanks you'. She hadn't decided what she would do. But she knew she had to get out of this mess. Sooner the better.
"Om- we can't let her go. Shivaay needs her!" Mallika said once Anika had left.
"Mallika are you out of your head. Instead of saying we must keep Shivaay away from her you say that!"
"Om you don't understand. The more away Anika goes the worse Shivaay's madness gets for her. "
Omkara pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. "She has her own life. Why would she subject herself to this?"
Mallika fell silent.
"But what you don't understand is that, For her own good she must saty here. The last thing we want is Shivaay to get unruly and dangerously a threat to her."
Omkara looked at Mallika.
"I can't give those medicins to Shivaay for too long. As a matter of fact, those medicines to control him can be a threat to his life because of his heart problem. I've been thinking of it every minute now. Anika is his CURE!"
Omkara looked baffled.
"Om, Anika can control Shivaay, she just has to know how to do it. Therapy is only option Shivaay has. Only Anika can be the best therapist. Only she can help him get over the obsession he has for her. He needs her!" Mallika sat on the couch exasperated. How she wished he'd been this mad for her then. She would have happily helped him, loved him, and been with him through it.
"There must be another way."
"Om, I can try to figure out which medicine helps Shivaay, but its hard. And - it won't be an easy cure. We might push him to another disease. They all have side effects."
"Tell me what I can do. I will do everything. Is there a better doctor we can go to? I am ready to shell out whatever it takes to find him a cure. But I can't wreck Anika's life for it." Om said in despair.
"It's not hard. Omkara. We need Anika on our side. That's it."
"Mallika why don't you understand. Anika has her own life."
"I can't believe she is more important to you than your own brother." Mallika shouted irritated.
Omkara stared at her. "That's because, I see what it is as it is, not being unfair. "
Mallika looked away. He made sense. But Shivaay was important to her. He was her first love. More than that he was her best friend. Shivaay had unknowingly taught her so much about life, made her feel so much better about herself, she owed him. She owed him for what kind of person she was today. Maybe he never was the boyfriend material, but he was always by her like a true friend through the thick and thin. He had made her reconstruct her relationship with her mother. She couldn't pay him back for that ever, no matter what. Least she could do was help him find his way out of this labyrinth and she would do just that.
"Where is Shivaay?" She asked after a pause of a few long minutes.
"Couldn't trace him. His phone was probably broken at the bus stop. That was his last location."
Mallika looked out. The day was a rather gloomy one. It was drizzling all day long. She wondered what if she tikd Shivaay about it. Would he be able to understand this and help himself out. He did have a clue that things weren't okay with himself. But why did he not proclaim Anika as his lover? Like in most cases an obsessed person would do.
* * *
"Mallika, come fast." Omkara announced himself into Mallika's room in the evening .
"Om is everything okay? Did Shivaay come home? Do you know where he is?"
"I will explain. Just hurry up. "
Mallika simply followed him till they were seated into he car. As he drove he told Mallika about Anika' s accident.
"How did it happen?"
"A car hit her. When I called to ask about what she plans to do or where she plans to shift. The call was answered by someone at the hospital."
"God. This day has been crazy. I pity her. "Mallika said placing her palm on her forehead.
"Do you think Shivaay did it?" Onkara asked his voice steady.
Mallika froze for a dew moments. Could he? No. "Shivaay would do nothing to hurt her. No. " she said confidently.
Omkara looked at the road ahead. His gut told him something wasn't right.
* * *
Omkara and Mallika sat in the hospital corridor, silently. They had to much to understand about. Luckily enough the accident hadn't done much damage. The brakes had slowed the car but yet Anika had been hit. She had fractured her right leg and bruised her right arm badly. Due to painkillers she was asleep. The accident had been registered and the police were dealing with the man driving the car. He himself had bought Anika to the hospital. He was also willing to pay the hospital charges. On calling Anika's home, Omkara had received no response. He had sent over a man to inform her family about the accident. The man had only got information saying her aunt along with Saahil had left for her mother's place. From what he gathered from the neighborhood. Omkara somehow couldn't digest all of this. Maybe he was thinking too much.
They looked up almost instantaneously as they heard a familiar voice. S H I V A A Y.
"There has been an accident case. Anika.
Ani-ni-ka is the name. " he was stuttering , enquiring at the help desk of the floor.
"Shivaay!" Mallika called to him.
Omkara looked at his crestfallen face which now showed a ray of hope.
"Where is she? Is she okay? How badly is she hurt? I reached home and Priyanka told me you both were here. Where is Anika?" He said in a mad haste.
"Shivaay- Shivaay. She is fine. A few minor injuries. But where the hell were you?" Omkara spoke rubbing his shoulder gently.
"I need to see her!" Ignoring Omkara's question he made way to the room right opposite to where they stood.
Omkara gave Mallika a look. She nodded as though asking him to keep patience.

Please leave your thoughts about this - as feedback. I need to know what the reader's POV is to this.
-Anami!
"Ma'am please, one person at a time. She is anyway sleeping. " the nurse said when Mallika attempted to enter the hospital room.
"Alright." Mallika nodded understandingly walking back yo where Omkara stood. "Coffee?" She asked him. He nodded.
"It's okay to leave Shivaay with Anika, alone?" Omkara looked at the door unsurely.
"Shivaay isn't a goon or terrorist. Omkara. He is your brother. Please. "
"It's just that I don't want Anika to be hurt because of Shivaay. " On slowly began walking towards the lift.
"Till Shivaay is with her, no harm can happen to her. Obsession only leads a person to be more careful, extra protective and possessive." Mallika said slowly.
Onkara caught the last word -possessive. Shivaay was always a possessive man. How far would it go for Anika?
Shivaay slowly sat on the stool by the bed. His hand reaching out for hers. He gentle stroked her hand while looking crestfallen. If only she had stayed with him. If only she had let him be by her side.He sat by her side waiting for her to wake up. Simply staring at her. She was so beautiful , so pure, it broke him to see her like that. How he wished, she had come with the perfect package to be his wife! If she had been from a reputed family, trustworthy bloodline he'd have made her his wife. But, he was scared, he'd be betrayed. Just like that woman made his dad betray his mom. Daadi always said it was because of people like her. But maybe Daadi could be wrong? Maybe not everyone who didn't fit the criteria to be equal to them was bad.
* * *
Anika slowly opened her eyes. She felt tired. She tried moving her feet but it hurt. She groaned softly in pain. She turned her head slightly trying to adjust her eyes to the light of the room. Where was she ? How long had she been sleeping? She closed her eyes momentarily remembering walking down to the market and then the accident. How badly had she been hurt?
Her heart froze for a few moments when she recognized the face of the man on her side. As a few seconds passed the happenings of the entire day hit her. Her heart started picking up speed, it was accelerating madly.
S H I V A A Y.
OBSESSED.
WITH HER.
The realization hit hard. She was scared. She clutched on to the sheet she was lying on.
"Anika."
How could his voice still seem so soothing to her? After everything. She remembered the night. His piercing gaze that night. His dominance. That kiss. That night. The conversation with Mallika. She shouldn't be optimistic here. He was literally mad. She hated how it sounded. She always wanted someone to be mad for her- madly in love with her. But not a madness close to obsession. Not a freaking disorder that trapped her. No.
"Are you okay?" He asked his voice dripping with concern. He ran his hand on her forehead to Tue back of her head.
She stared at him. He was closer than before. She could see concern his sapphire eyes. She could sense the desperation in his voice. He cared!
"Fine." She said looking deeply into his eyes. She never knew madness could be so similar to this heartwarming feeling of care and concern. It's his mind playing games, he doesn't love you. She reminded herself. It was hard not to fall for him. How could she not fall for him? But she also knew smhe would perhaps never catch her. Falling for him was only choosing to be broken.
"You should have been careful. Do you have any clue of what could have happened? I told you - you can't take care of yourself. Who asked you to leave by yourself ? I was there right. For you. Who - -?"
Tears left her eyes. She wanted to fall for his concern and care. No man had ever shown so much care for her. No man had ever been so concerned for her well being. No man had ever been so mad at her for not taking care of herself.
He paused when he saw tears rolling down her cheeks. "Anika, are you okay? Don'cry. Does it hurt- do you want me to call the doctor?" He gently held her hand.
"Stop scolding me. " she said looking at him. She was miserable. She couldn't help but find herself falling for this man.
"How can I? You know how scared I was! What if--?"
"What?"She asked hoping to get something she knew there was no chance of getting.
" I was scared. " he said slowly looking away.
"Why?" She whispered.
"Because I care!" He whispered back looking at her. His eyes didn't lie.
There was a knock at the door. He quickly wiped his moist eyes and Anika lifted her right hand to do the same. Alas, she only groaned in pain. Her arm had been bandaged from elbow to the root of fingers on her palm. She had been bruised badly. He quickly wiped her tears as gently as possible. She kept her eyes on him the before time. "Okay?" He whispered. She nodded.
"Hey!" Mallika said stepping in. "How are you now?" She quickly got to her side.
"Fine." Anika gave a clipped response. She missed Gauri. No matter how much she wanted to tell her everything and wanted her by her side. She couldn't do it. She couldn't ruin Gauri's life her career and future. At least she wouldn't have to go through this torturous life 's hard ways.
"Anika- - do you need anything?" Omkara asked analysing her silence. Yes, she wanted her peace back. Though tampered and torn her peace was good enough for her. She wanted it back.
She nodded in a no. Heavy silence fell. Mallika began speaking to fill it, while Shivaay excused himself. Omkara followed his trail.
"Shivaay, where are you going?"
"To find out who did that to her."
"It's settled Shivaay. He apologized and also has paid all the bills. "
Shivaay paid no heed and proceeded to the interrogation room in the hospital. Once inside he looked at the man. "Who is Mr. Tripathi?"
A man in mid thirties looked up,"Sir, The accident was a mistake. " Shivaay almost sprang to get the man in his hold while Omkara pulled him back immediately.
"She could have been badly hurt, Om!" He shouted in anger.
"Shivaay Shivaay. It was an accident. He tried his best to get the car in control. It was Anika's fault as well as his. Anika was little absentminded and he was also wrong with speed. We've seen the CCTV footage of the road."
"I am really sorry. Please allow me to leave. My sister isnt keeping well. She has had a miscarriage and is at the hospital in Mallard West. That's why I was speeding. I have paid all the bills, cleared the fine and am ready to pay further. But I need to leave , my sister needs me."
Shivaay softened. "Go." He told the man. Turning to the police officer-" Close the case. "
"But-" the policeman tried to argue.
"His sister needs him. Let him go." He turned to the man-" You can leave." A small smile made way to Omkara's face. No matter what - his heart was of gold. Shivaay maybe maid up of all those dark layers but deep within was a heart as pure as gold. He deserved love. Not hate. Not pity. He deserved to be loved.
* * *
Omkara was now a little confused. Shivaay had got Anika's discharge papers ready and asked the hospital to facilitate whatever requirements were needed at the mansion. They couldn't leave Anika all alone. But Omkara knew she wouldn't want to stay at their place. Not after what happened today morning.
"Anika, we are going mansion. The discharge formality is done. " Shivaay announced.
Anika was flabbergasted. His tone of dominance did not go well with Anika. More after Mallika had told him about Shivaay's obsession for her. She turned to Omkara who seemed confused himself. Did he not say, he'd make sure Shivaay never saw her again?
"No. I mean I will go home. I can manage." She said.
"I can see that." He sad sarcastically.
"Shivaay is right. You can't be by yourself Anika. You can't even walk. " Mallika added.
"Yeah I guess, they are right." Omkara said when she saw him for help out of this.
Her face fell. " I don't want to be a burden. " she said quietly.
"You are like family. Besides Priyanka is already expecting you home. " he said looking at her. She stored at him. He said she was family. She was left speechless with that. Was she? No her mind whispered. He doesn't mean it mostly. She gulped, this couldn't get harder.
Omkara's phone rang and he quickly excused himself.
Mallika began helping Anika to get on the wheel chair with the assistance of the nurse. Anika yelped as her leg moved against the bed. He was quickly by her side holding her hand. "Anika you okay?" He whispered to her. Then turning to the burse he asked her to back off, clearly showing his anger. He then very carefully lifted her in his arms making sure to not allow her leg to be in pain. He carried her and gently settled her on the wheel chair. Anika was only trying to keep her heart from falling for him.
While Mallika simply stared at him. A small smile made up to her face. A smile of little sadness and little joy. The two made a perfect couple. She was slightly envious but more troubled now. Would they make it to a happily ever after together?
She knew the chances were slim but they weren't null.
