Hits: Khudgarz
Pukaar
Visaal
Suno Chanda
Aakhri Station

Misses: Ishq Tamasha - started well but butchered
Khaani- the story is actually poor. IMO popularity is because of Feroze.

BAsed on publicized metrics, Khaani is a bonafide blockbuster. I wanted a straight-up romance, but I do think the storyline had logic to it. Love could not trump the gravity of Meer's actions. What love did for him was to make him repent, and he got another shot at making a difference. Khani was a very great, progressive character who became her family's anchor. So, in all those regards, I am glad this show got the viewership it did.

Qurban for me was great upto episodes 4-5. THereafter, it was a dismal viewing. The publicized metrics suggest it as a bonafide success. For me, the only redeeming quality of the show was the OST and Jamal, and the fact that it introduced me to what could be a great romantic pairing: Iqra and Bilal.

Parchayee: I liked it. It was a new pairing and it worked for me. Also, the step-dad was a great performance by the Muqabil and Tanhayian actor.

Suno Chanda: Amazing, and very well done romance. The comedy was jarring in some places, but generally, it was enjoyable to me.

Visaal: It was problematic in its execution and I was fast-forwarding through a lot of the episodes but Zahid Ahmed was amazing as was Sabroor and I did think he had a great chemistry with Hania in the early episodes when she was spunky. There was a lot left to be desired in the final product but was a great effort.

Kahan Ho Tum: I liked it. I tuned in with zero expectations but it turned out to be a decent one time watch, and thankfully, the heroine did not return to the man who wronged her (even if he did so unknowingly). I loved her final words to Zavier, "We sell ourselves cheap for love but it is love itself that proves to be so costly to us".

Aangan: I liked it but was most interested till the wedding of the leads.

Lashkara: I have been an Ushna apologist and I do think she's doing well here. I liked to silly characters and now the issue being dealt with is very interesting to me: how does Bubbly go from here? Will Feeka be able to love her and desire her as much, now that her much-feted beauty is marred?

Mere Khudaya: Very interesting and I am curious to know how it will go from here. At my last viewing, contrary to my expectations, Alaina did not die, rather her beloved brother did (of shock). So very curious to know how things will progress from here.

Seep: It has been a guilty pleasure but has turned boring now.

Ghar Titli Ka Par: The first few episodes were very, very annoying. In fact, right upto the time that Shafaq woke up to realize Anji's ways, things were dull and annoying. Shafaq was a very annoying character, right up there with Romeesa from Mohabbta Shubh Ka Tara hai (before she grew a spine). The show left a lot to be desired but I do confess to having watched it till the end out of sheer curiosity.

Koi Chand Rakh: I have been watching it because I do think Imran can do the jilted lover very well. I also like his pairing with Ayeza. But I am hoping the romance does not take too long to kick in. Or, in the end, Ayeza goes to her cousin, who seems to love her a lot. The girl Imran falls for is very annoyingly played by the actress. She appears miscast.

Woh Mera Dil Tha: It seems a decent watch. Sami Khan is likable and I am starting to feel that he should have been the hero in Basher Momin, the first show I ever watched him in, I think. He is quite a good leading man but I just wish the Dhaani girl did not wear that annoying nose ring that doesn't go well with her look.

Khudgarz: This was really a tale between the two cousins and I wish they had fleshed out that friendship better. Because, as it currently stands, I didn't understand why Sami mourned Junaid's loss so deeply at the end. His grief suggested a deep connection but we weren't shown that connection. So, that was a bit odd, and Ira'a death was a blow but then, had the show ended up as an Ira-Sami romance, it would have been equally unconvincing. A bit lacking but interesting still.

Pukar: I know people love Yuman and Zahid together. To me, they are an odd pair and the show was tiring. I barely watched a few episodes. Apparently, based on viewership metrics, it is a bonafide success.

That's my list for now. Have been watching some others but none really satisfied me. So, have omitted their mention. Cheers.
