Does her building have cctv cameras, her front door or entrance. People barging in can be a big proof that she is being harassed!

People cannot be sued for opinions but they can be sued for distorting facts...accusing someone of a crime(sexual harassment) ...of course she can get sued...not saying she is lying...just saying that someone accused of a crime has the right to defend himself legally...

Just because she didn't speak...doesn't mean it didn't happen...she can speak whenever she musters up enough courage...its up to the courts to see if they can entertain a law suit if she ever files...but Nana's law suit for defamation of character will be heard by the courts for sure.

By giving their names out, she indulged in libel, which is an offence in Indian court of law.

its not reporting a robbery, its accusing someone of robbing the place... if that person hasn't done it, that person has a right to file a defamation case...

tomorrow someone with personal agenda can come and accuse you of something, in that case you have a right to file defamation case, to prove that you are not involved in the matter.

You cannot condemn her for reporting it again after 10 years.

In the US, a big thing is just happening where a woman spoke about the supreme court justice candidate , Brett Kavanaugh about her sexual assault that happened when they were 15 and 17 respectively. There is huge outrage against him and the FBI is getting involved.

Also as per CINTAA she did give a complaint both to CINTAA and the police.

lets see where this goes until then support her for her courage to speak up

MNS party people are like that...they do get involved in such matter without being asked to...esp since Nana Patekar is really revered in Maharashtra and Marathi people, it is possible they got involved without him asking them to.

@red : you cannot condemn her for reporting, but what she is doing is slamming everything and everyone... so she can accuse someone and the accused shouldnt send her a legal notice... court cases take years to get an ending, but she can come after 10 years and report something... shouldnt she be the last person to talk about time and years ??

she expects people to stop working with Nana but Nana has no right to defend himself... every one should judge him on her statement without asking a question, is it ??
