I won't beg for your time and attention anymore. The more you'll ignore me the more I'll get used to being ignored. If you stop calling me I'll stop waiting for your calls. If you stop sending me text messages, I will get rid of my habit of checking my phone all day. The more you'll stay away from me the more I'll adapt to staying away from you. And then one day finally I'll learn to live without you, and that day I'll move on. Never looking back.
Maybe you'll not notice, maybe you won't call. But if you do, I'll be strong enough to talk to you without thinking about all that you did wrong. I'll be strong enough to stand in front of you with my head held high and not crumble because of the pain you caused me.
And that day even if you beg me, I'll never come back. Not because I'll hate you. Not because I would still remember the pain you gave me. Not because I couldn't forgive you for cheating on me. No, I'll not come back because I'll be free of your love, because finally I would be in peace, because that day I'll finally realize that I don't need anyone but me to be happy, because that day you would no longer be my world.
