Salman's BB12 beats Amitabh's KBC in TRP

This week's TRP report is out and like everyone else, our eyes were set on it as two titans of Bollywood clashed on Television with their respective reality shows starting last week. This week was crucial as Bigg Boss 12 premiered last week and we were left to wonder if the audience still responds to the show the same way and guess what? The show really seems to have struck a chord with the audience as it entered the top 6 list in its first week itself despite tough competition from Star Plus' popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 10. Both Bigg Boss 12 and KBC 10 air at 9 PM on Colors and Sony respectively.

Salman Khan beat Amitabh Bachchan by a few impressions as BB 12 took the 6th spot while KBC 10 took the 10th spot.

Salman Khan beats Amitabh Bachchan?😆

We all saw Salman's star power on television when his 10 Ka Dum flopped miserably.😆 Bigg Boss is not even a full-fledged Salman Khan show, he only appears on Saturdays and Sundays. Bigg Boss has beaten KBC because audience is more interested in seeing high-voltage drama and fights, instead of a poor contestant who is shedding fake tears, telling his sob story, and ending up winning crores.

it is unfair to compare a sony show to colors show, we all know what happened to dus ka dum.

Getting 2.5+ rating on Sony TV with barely any ads is like an ATBB movie. Colors shows cannot be compared to Sony TV as Sony has been doing badly since years where the max TRP they used to get is 1.1. Even Dus Ka Dum did not do so badly and earned 1 TRP. But Indian Idol and KBC did even better than Salman's show on Sony which is surprising.

there is no need to compare shows on host basis ,,,

the audience for both the shows are totally different ...

i was watching KBC since the start ... after BB12 launching i switched to BB12 for some days ...

but now i am again back to KBC which is very knowledgebale ... BB12 can be watched on voot , its NO WAY superior then a show like kbc for me atleast ... BB can be watched online ... but kbc me live question answers ka jo maza hai vo repeat telecast me nahi ...

aur rahi baat BB ki to log use masale ke lie dekhte hai NOT for salman uncle :/

BB12's opening night was 3.1 which ran solely on Salman's starpower which is even higher than KBC's opening night. So the 'excuse' is invalid.

Solely on Salman's star power?😆 More like star power of Bigg Boss. It was the first episode, and the contestants were being introduced, so people had the curiousity to watch it. If Salman is such a big megastar then why his 10 Ka Dum flopped?...which btw was a full-fledged Salman show.
